EDIT: NEW OWNERS & NAME, CHANGED FROM A 5 TO 1 STAR
Ever since the owners changed hands, the vibe has drastically gone downhill. It’s no longer the chill, cool place to go; it’s steadily become more and more like your bog-standard sports/college bar. It’s lost all its personality and charm. The staff is frequently playing the new ski ball instead of being at the bar (soooo loud), the selection has gone downhill, and the “food” has been reduced to only day-old pizza. We used to come every week for trivia but now we’re just left feeling disappointed ☹️

Great atmosphere and even better service. Super fun events every week including trivia, comedy night and live music! There is also an arcade that’s fun for the whole family and some comfortable outside seating if you just want to have drink and read your book in the sun. Highly recommend it for any day of the week!

Decent selection of local beers. Haven’t tasted their food or wine yet but the place is nice and spacious. The beer pricing is pretty good compared to the crazy rates some places charge. The ambience is quite relaxed. They have a bunch of books on display (that one can buy) and the walls have super fun art. Very friendly service too. All in all – great place to hang!

I was stoked to see the Break Room open up. Immaculate vibes for students on campus who need a place to drink a beer & hang out or that need a place to study. This is the only off-campus establishment I feel comfortable & productive to do late night work at, open to 11pm every night, cant beat it! The bar tenders are nice & accommodating. The arcade is LIT! Haven’t tried the food yet, but the delivery from Colombo’s is as easy as it gets, if the bar apps don’t do it for ya. Bring your friends!

I had an absolutely wonderful time, Ava and Mimi were perfect bartenders. They always made sure I had a drink and that I had everything I needed. I had such a lovely conversation with both of them and will be returning due to their lovely personalities and bubbly demeanor. 10/10 would come back for the vibes and the drinks. Cheers!

I enjoyed this place a lot! I had a gluten free cider and played some chess with a friend from class. Their cabinet of games is pretty fantastic! I will definitely be returning!

First off I love the concept here. A relaxing pup style enviroment with simple bar food and some rotating beers and wine. That’s where the praises stop. Stopped in at around 6pm (prime pup time) and was met with what might be the worst $23 I’ve ever spent in Bozeman.
Sat down and was quickly met with a smiling face ready to take my order. I glanced at the limited yet interesting food menu and ordered the full size pasty (which is a great bar menu item) and a $6 local beer.
The “pasty” was the worst $15 I’ve spent on food in Bozeman in a long time. Dry, old, tastless…couldn’t even finish it. Not suprisingly I don’t think there’s a back of house preparing anything and it shows. Staff an actual kitchen and quit making your bartenders heat up pre-made old frozen food. I mean for $15 your pasty should be miles above what I was served.
The beer was cold and pretty much the only saving grace to this confusing experience and long story long, just walk 40ft to colombos and get some real food and just as good of beer selection…for less money.

the bartenders all rule and the lounge-y vibe is really unique in town, my favorite place to grab a pint and just read a book or catch up with a friend or play board games or check out the used book wall or play arcade games in the back

Very cozy and inviting neighborhood hangout! Close to campus, good beer on tap, and a good selection of simple, tasty small bites and meals. Very fair prices, especially for Bozeman!
