I’ve been looking for some quality bread. Google helped me locate this shop and I drove out to see what breads they offer. I was not disappointed it was worth the drive. I haven’t been able to try the 3 loaves I purchased but I did eat the almond croissant in the parking lot and it is a high value experience. Such a good pastry. It would take to many words to describe.

Great experience! We stopped in cause it was a bread and soup kind of morning. I had been wanting to give them a shot for months and tbh I am disappointed that I didn’t try them sooner. The ham and cheese pastry had a croissant like flakey goodness, and the loaf of garlic and cheese sour dough was to die for, I ate half the loaf dipping it in my French onion soup… I will say the French onion was only average, BUT the salad it came with more then made up for it. I can’t say there are too many things I love more then a good soup, salad, and bread. I loved the vibe too, the people were so friendly and welcoming. Really the only complaint I had was it was PACKED and there was really no where to sit, we ended up grabbing a seat at the ice cream shop outside, and when a spot opened inside, moved closer. Don’t let this deter you though. The seating issue isn’t that big a deal, and it was totally worth the hassle, for the yums.

The staff are stressed and ill prepared with 1 cashier working the tell, and several in the back kitchen. Everything was served cold (we weren’t asked how we wanted it) and the apple fritter was like eating croutons. No reason to come back.

Excellent pastries, great coffee, wonderful service. Only a couple minutes’ walk from the Doubletree, if you’re just visiting like me.

Love the pastries and breads (the almond cake is my favorite), breakfast was just okay. I had the poached egg breakfast. Poached eggs were very inconsistent with one overcooked and one undercooked. I feel like the dish needed balance. The chevre and balsamic needed a bitter alongside. Arugula would be perfect. Pastries and bread amazing as always! Espresso was pretty good, too. Service was lovely.

Fantastic tasty everything! Friendly lovely staff, very small eating area but staff allowed our group to sit at Sophie’s ice cream shop next door & brought us food. Our group ordered all the brunch dishes & each one was delish. Hollandaise on eggs Benedict a little more lemony than creamy but very tasty. The raspberry cream Cruffin’s totally addicting & cream cake melt in your mouth! Totally going back!

Yes they’re very hip + French—in food and in ‘tude. Deal with it silently as a true Olympian would or stand there and insist on having your way but don’t blame them if you let them get away with bad service. Simple + wholesome folksy food, gorgeously presented. The pastry case will make you break all of the promises you have made to yourself. Try the croque madame. You could make it at home, but you woke up early and wanted to get out and about on a sunny morning, enjoy the finer things in life like coffee and people watching.

I love this place! The quality of food & beverages is always stellar. Best coffee & hot chocolate in downtown Olympia. Breakfast sandwiches & quiche sell out quick so get here before 11am! They have a good variety of artisan bread and pastries…. All delicious! The baristas here are sweet and helpful and best of all….. professional.

I’ve only been to their Olympia Farmers Market location, but will absolutely be going to their brick and mortar location in the near future. They have amazing croissants, cookies, and many other baked goods. I’ve literally never been disappointed with anything I’ve tried.

Best croissants in town. Kept their quality all these years. Not so for their competition sadly. Lucky Olympia to have two French bakeries.
