I do love The Bread Basket’s selection of sweet breads and rolls. Baked fresh each day, the cinnamon and apple or cranberry orange are truly melt in your mouth. You need to get there early as they sell out quickly. Parking is ample and close to the door. The prices are a tad high with a mini loaf running $6.75, which is why it is an occasional treat for us.

Love their dense and delicious cakes! The strawberry and the caramel ones are giant and worth every penny! Their homemade cookies are our favorites, especially the moist lemon cookies. They are always super friendly and answer all our questions. They always have sales going on so get one of their calendars if you like to save on goodies, but to me they are affordable and priced fairly for how wonderful everything taste!

I have always been treated so well at the Hixson Bread Basket.. I love purchasing goodies to share as gifts and our family loves the wonderful treats as well.. I received a special blessing this week from them that I didn’t expect. Winning the weekly cake drawing was so special but it came at the most amazing time, and I thank the Lord and the shop for such generosity and kindness

It was an outstanding experience today. While I had ordered 5 baskets online with plenty of lead time, at the last minute I needed 3 more. They jumped into action with a limited inventory and made up 3 more while waiting on others customers in less than an hour. Fantastic.

Oh my. The cakes. The pastries. The cookies. But best of all? The CINNAMON ROLLS. Holy Moses, thats the best $4 you will spend. They’re massive, they’re so wonderful. But honestly, anything you get here is going to be amazing. Their lemon pound cake is to die for. So dense and flavorful. If you’ve never stopped by here, you’re missing out!
