Get your menu order and then find your table. One of the workers cleaned a booth for my grandma so she would be more comfortable. Staff had limited knowledge on the menu but was very polite. The carne asada omelette I got was a little burnt but actually was really good with flavor unfortunately I asked for extra crispy hash browns and they came undercooked then when I asked for them again they came back to me flooded in a plate of oil. My grandmother’s biscuits and gravy was good but could have used just a little bit more gravy. I have to say the horchata here is some of the best I’ve ever had I would highly recommend 10 out of 10.

Overall experience was good. I got the chili relleno burrito and the flavor profile was underwhelming. It could use a little less egg and chorizo or sausage instead. Good quality food though and the staff is attentive.

I was expecting bread and honey and there was nothing like that on the menu. There is no bakery item in the building. The menu is all over the place. And these were the worst chilaquiles I’ve ever eaten. The Chile combination to make the sauce was off and the sauce was burnt so it was very bitter and bland. The presentation is nice but it wasn’t delicious. The orange juice was very tasty. My husband’s food was a strange. He didn’t like it very much but he isn’t one to complain plus this meal was spendy for what it was.
He had the green Chile chicken fried steak. It was literally a bowl of green Chile pork (like a burrito stuffing) it wasn’t a sauce or gravy. This place missed the mark. Also you have to get a menu when you first aarrive but you’re not able to order from the table there arent waiters, you have to go back up to the counter to order??? Very strange.

First time visiting Arizona and i had a great experience here, there was no rush for us to pick our food. First time here and my partner and I both loved the food. Service was great. I got something off the lunch menu while my spouse got a breakfast burrito.

This is a clean, friendly place. Not fancy but beautiful murals on the walls. The Cuban sandwich is the best I’ve ever had! Order at the counter and bus your own dishes but it’s worth the effort and time. I was there for breakfast but it appears they also serve alcoholic beverages. The coffee was good and they do have almond milk or oat milk if you are dairy-free.

This hidden gem is just minutes away from all the hustle and bustle of downtown Mesa. The food portions were plentiful, flavorful and the breakfast potatoes were delicious. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Depending on the time of day, it can get very busy and parking may be limited, but definitely worth the wait

Excellent breakfast and coffee! The chorizo and potato crispy tacos were amazing. They should bottle their red sauce!! Also the green chili chicken fried steak was crispy and delicious

I tried Bread and Honey house today for the first time. I know it can get very busy so I waited until 1pm on Tuesday hoping the parking would be no issue and the wait minimal. My plan panned out! I read many reviews complaining about the fast food, self service dining concept in comparison to food prices. I really don’t get the problem. It’s common today, not complicated, and a way to keep the doors open now that coffee and beef prices are up 50%. I actually prefer being able to fill my own coffee and water cups and not have to wait on a server.
The restaurant was not busy. The counter service was friendly and helpful. My lunch buddy ordered Chilaquiles and I selected mixed berry crepes. The coffee was fresh and hot and our food was served quickly.
Now, in my opinion the food was good but not WOW! My crepes were good. The berry compote and cream filling was a great combination. However, my friend and I were both expecting more ‘something’ from the Chilaquiles after being told they were 4x award winners.
That said, I plan to return soon and try other menu items!

The food was good. My 3 stars is mainly based on the price. I got the chilaquiles and hot capuchino . Both good. My partner got a green chile breakfast burrito that was also good.
The vibe is good with nice tunes.
Did notice upset people because there was only one person up front taking care of the coffee, money, orders and he was in the back most of the time.
No ‘waiter -waitress’ service is provided so no free refills on drinks. We assume.. we never had someone come to our table and ask if we needed anything. It’s also pay first**
Also because of the name we expended this place to be more of a bakery or lean towards honey and bread vibes and it leans more towards Mexican food. My mistake for not reviewing this place well before coming in. Just threw me off.

Overall – food is good, service was good, expect higher than normal prices for Mexican food you can get just as good at other Mex spots for cheaper, no waiter /waitress service, no free refills. And it’s not a bakery and there is nothing with honey and bread

1st time trying this place and its very nice and inviting when you walk in. Didn’t really understand how ordering worked so we just followed the persons in front. You order at the counter and a very nice young lady takes your order and its open seating.
I had the chicken bacon avocado sandwich, it looked very impressive. It was good but lacking seasoning and it was quite messy; but the fries were really good, i have to say.
