My boyfriend and I visited The Brass Tap for the first time on Sunday. We arrived around 7pm and had the most friendly waitress Juliet! She met us with a smile and made sure our sweet teas were filled, she checked on us throughout the meal and ensured our food came out good. Top notch service, we will be returning! The food was delicious as well! Chicken nachos and a chicken sandwich tossed in buffalo sauce. We didn’t try any beers this time, but will be back!

I decided to check out The Brass Tap, and it definitely did not disappoint! The service was excellent, and the drink selection on the menu was impressive. The wings were packed with flavor, and the shrimp was incredibly fresh. Our server was fantastic, sharing helpful info on specials and letting us know that trivia was happening that Friday. Overall, it’s a great spot with an awesome atmosphere—if you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a visit!

I love everything about this place! This was our first visit and will not be our last. Food was incredible! I had the caprese pizza which was so flavorful. My husband had the hot honey pizza it was surprisingly sweet. Our three year old even liked both of ours and the tacos he ordered. So even though they didn’t have a kids menu which is understandable there was still something for our toddler to eat. I also was able to get a Cider Boys Cider I haven’t been able to find the brand up here so now I know where to go. Cannot wait to go back!

I’m in the area for business and stopped by The Brass Tap for lunch on a Wednesday looking for something somewhat low calorie and I found success!!
I ordered the Blackened Cod Tacos and requested one on a corn tortilla and the other on a flour tortilla.. Despite the wide variety of beer and spirits available, I opted for ice water.. Did I mention I was in the area for business??
Anywho, the tacos and accompanying chips and salsa were delivered rather quickly and I was delightfully surprised that this entrée selection fit my low calorie requirement quite perfectly..
The tacos were topped with diced tomatoes, slaw, Cojita cheese, onions, cilantro, and fresh jalapeño slices.. The blackened cod was amply portioned in each taco and it combined with the fresh toppings made for a rather tasty, light lunch.. 10 out of 10 recommend if fish tacos are in your wheelhouse..
A fellow down the bar ordered a small pepperoni pizza (no picture) and it looked decadent, too..
Service was great and they offer a generous military discount, too.. I would definitely revisit The Brass Tap on a future visit!!

We come here once/twice a week solely for the food, but after meeting Ashley (bar), she’s become the main reason our experience has elevated from good to amazing! We no longer say “let’s go to the Brass Tap,” instead we say “let’s go see Ashley.” She knows a lot about the food and is very knowledgeable about the IPAs. Even though the bar can be busy, Ashley still manages to give us top service and her personality makes us stay longer and order desserts.

15 of us came to lunch there. They were so accommodating and friendly. Gave us all separate checks without a problem. Our waitress was phenomenal and the manager on duty was great. The food was amazing and the drinks were top notch. Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon. We definitely will be back. ❤️

I use to be a regular at this place and it was pretty good. Lately the service has gone way down hill. You will be waiting on your food forever and you will probably get it wrong.
I ordered boneless chicken once looking for a cleaner meal and they might as well have gotten them from the frozen food section in Walmart with how small they were.
Even with something like drinks it takes forever to get a beer. I’m not sure why but if it’s a busy night they will have brand new waitresses on staff instead of having the regulars. There are a couple good waitresses that know how to take good care of their regulars but I have been seeing them less and less lately. Last time I went I had told them we had our three but were waiting on 3 more. 2 more ended up showing up but they allowed another party to sit next to us and take every single seat aside from one. Then we had to move despite there being other tables that party could move too. It has been very aggravating having a place I spend every Tuesday at just plummet and go down hill but I guess I’ll be moving to a new local.
The food is overall good though so I’ll give them that.

We went trying to find some good food and were pleasantly surprised to find some unique and appealing items on the menu, especially for Southern MD. Reminded us of Velocity Wings or a place in Ashburn, VA. Not a drinker but the food alone was worth going for!
The nachos (Korean bbq pork), wings (brown sugar bourbon), and toasted Italian sub with a tap salad was what we ordered. Server, a new guy who said he’d only been there a month was really good. Looking forward to the next visit and trying something else!

Came in with my husband today for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Excellent variety of beer on tap to choose from. Food was great! Our bartender recommended trying the boom boom sauce with the cheese curds and it was a great combination. Overall, a great stop!
