We were in here for over an hour and a half on a Friday night. Took an hour to get the main course. Could’ve been a 1 off night. Food was alright, tried the “Taco Week” egg roll tacos. I gotta say, deep fried soggy lettuce is probably not your best idea for anytime let alone a highlighted menu item. Brisket nachos were decent and filling. Good sweet potato fries. Good onions rings. Server barely gave us the time of day. I love to try local and try to support local but we wouldn’t go back on that first impression.

Very Over priced bar food. Very dry no seasoning at all even if u order dry it should have some what of a taste the only thing good was the sweet sauce so dont get dry always selected a sauce. My husband vomited right after eating the half a rack of ribs. There sweet potatoes fries were good and fried pickles were excellent best in polk county. #rude #edited…..u cant ask for ppls honest opinions then get mad and sass ppls comments when they post their experiences. Me hard to please yes absolutely especially when I work hard for my money and spend alot when we go out to eat I expect great service and amazing food especially when the bill is $145+ and its not even a high end restaurant see pics for reference. N no there was no other issues he ate he vomited he felt better… the ribs or the beans were the issue for sure. We all ate the same stuff except the beans n ribs and none of us got sick. As far as all my other reviews yes I leave honest reviews some great some bad. Obviously yall cant handle the truth.

First time at The Brack Shack Bar & Grill in Auburndale. This place has been on my radar for a long time and we finally made it over. My husband and picky-ish daughter shared the egg rolls and nachos (everything on the side for the nachos at my daughter’s request, it usually comes assembled lol). They both loved everything! Really nice sized serving of brisket that was super tender and flavorful. Lots of fun and unique flavored BBQ sauces to choose from too. The staff was also great!

We just can’t get on board with The Brack Shack. It is more like a bar with a counter to order food. The atmosphere is dark and felt dingy.
The pulled pork sandwich was dry.
The brisket egg roll was ok, but pretty greasy.
The burger was ok, but the bun was burnt and made the whole thing taste burnt.
The corn nuggets that they call tater tots were good.
Way over priced for the experience.

Don’t sleep on these nachos! We dine here quite frequently and finally decided to order this little gem of a menu item. A true diamond in the rough, obscured by the ribs, brisket, and BBQ sandwiches commonly found on BBQ joint menus. Wanting to try something different, we asked the waitress how they were and she politely, and honestly, replied, “I’m not sure. I’ve never actually tried them. And not a lot of people order them”. Although this didn’t seem promising, it ironically fit right in with our desire to break from the norm. To say these were delicious would be an understatement. The chicken was nicely shredded and flavorful. The cheese, warm and gooey. Topped with fresh lettuce, tomato and onion which offered a delightful balance to the dish. A generous portion size that can be enjoyed with either a fork and knife, or barbarian style with your two bare hands. Either way you will walk away fully satisfied and maybe a bit disappointed you haven’t had them sooner!

Had a late lunch here and it was well worth the ride. You order at the register and they bring it to your table. Staff seemed to be shorthanded but it didn’t slow them down. Our table had cheeseburger, onion rings, brisket egg rolls, fries, brisket sandwich, taco egg rolls and peach cobbler. It was all delicious. We would definitely recommend to others.

Had dinner w/my wife on 2/20/2026. CHRISTINA our server was awesome! The atmosphere & decoration is very nice. This review is based on my and my wife’s taste…you must try and be your own judge. THE GOOD=Fried Dill Pickle, Grilled Chicken sandwich & the fried Okras that came with it! THE NOT-SO GOOD=Pork OG egg roll & Brisket OG Egg Roll. THE BAD=My Merlot was awful!…old wine w/bad taste. They should make sure they don’t serve old wine to customers!

My wife and I were craving authentic barbeque. Having read previous reviews, and amazing word-of-mouth reviews from a few of her colleagues, we decided to go in.
Best decision since I married her. The place is impeccably clean. Spit-shine clean. We were welcomed in and sat down asked for our drink preferences, then left to talk amongst each other.
As it was Super Bowl Sunday, I wore all of my Seahawks gear.
The owner comes in and personally greets every single person in the joint. He understands and appreciates everyone who’s there. To me, that’s the definition of customer service. Gives me the “Go Hawks!” a hearty hug and now we’re as brothers.
Sonny’s, you walk in and it’s as if you’re an intrusion; think of it as McDonald’s with your choice of bagged barbeque sauce. Brack Shack is the upside-down of any other barbeque place.
You get the drift.
Now, our order arrives. I’m a fried okra connoisseur. Best I’ve ever eaten is, surprisingly, in Boston at a joint called the French Quarter. This is that quality. Not oversalted, not burned, just…perfect. Chef’s kiss.
The brisket eggroll? Forget about it. Game changer. The pulled pork is tender, full of juicy deliciousness and tastes as well-seasoned pork should. Doesn’t taste like a flip flop with ketchup.
But the masterpieces are the corn bread and the apple pie eggroll. I actually went and slapped my Momma after we ate it.
No way we could finish all this food in one sitting. Took the rest home and threw it in the air frier for last night’s victory.
Superb job by my beloved Seattle Seahawks and Brack Shack for the viddles.
Sincerely, Scott (Mr. Seahawk) and Shanna.

Greeted upon entering. Order at register, then seat yourself. Friendly. Decor honors the patriotic, VFW history of the building. Menu has lots of options, fall off the bone ribs, lots of sauce choices, sides yummy, alcohol/non alcohol drink choices, portions more than adequate, lots of table and booth seating, plenty of parking … and a really nice bar area with seating. We had the rib basket (3 ribs) with okra and coleslaw and the original Pulled Pork Eggroll with sweet potato fries. Every year, they do a really great smoked or smoked and fried turkey for ordering ahead for Thanksgiving (call a month in advance! PickUp is the Weds before). Never disappoints.

The Brack Shack Bar and Grill, always great food. You can buy the bbq sauce to go too! So many things to love. Brisket is amazing…love the brisket nachos. Tried the wings for the 1st time and they were excellent..my favorite Mac and cheese around..so happy for the addition of the bar. The owner takes pride in his business and his food.
