We were starving after a long flight to Clearwater, so we came here for a quick bite before our room was ready for check-in.
We found a cozy, welcoming vibe here. The food was good; I had one of the best waffles I’ve ever had.
One thing: before ordering, make sure the item doesn’t contain pork or any other particular thing you wouldn’t want in your food.
The place is just one block away from the beach, close to many star hotels and motels.

Had an amazing lunch here today. After driving from Kissimmee to Clearwater we were starving and looking for something the whole family could enjoy. We came across The Boxer and everything about it was fantastic. Our server was super friendly and the atmosphere was great but the food was next level! I had the chicken tacos which were so tasty, my husband had the brisket burger and the kids had chicken wings which were all huge and really tasty too. It’s the best food we’ve eaten on our holiday so far.

Christmas day, 6-7 pm ish. stand on sidewalk advertising menu is not what was being served. once we sit, are handed paper “special Christmas menus”. Server Johnnie is less than helpful knowledge of menu..had to ask another server. out of gravy for mashed potatoes. Side salads, had to ask so she’d bring them first. croutons are stale. when I say something she says oh sorry and walks away. I didn’t eat it and it stayed on my bill as upgraded 2 dollar charge. Bbq chicken dinner, chicken is charred, fries luke warm. saw many orders dying more than 5 min in window. steak suppose to be med well is rare. she brings another plate, im like what am I supposed to do, blood all over plate and odd vegetables I didnt order. she said put steak on it, I said just take it back with that blood. 10 min later when she brings steak back, its well done. flavor would have been good had it not now been burnt. Johnnie needs retrained in customer service she was less than helpful or cared, minimal knowledge of menu items, offered blame on it being crazy in there since she got in. Place was never very busy nor was it anytime we walked past that week. should have listened to my innerself not to eat there when day before some ladies were handing out coupons for the boxer along the street. overpriced for what it is, avoid this place if on vacation and looking for good dining experience. I only tipped at all because Ive worked in service industry most my life and it’s Christmas. She would have gotten fifty to seventyfive percent tip if not tipped the bill had it been good or if she attempted to make things right. but she didnt and didnt seem to care. my young daughter suggested she seemed high. wouldn’t surprise me.

Absolutely loved this place! The food did not disappoint! We got the grouper and it was the best I ever had. Lightly breaded and they actually give enough tartar sauce. The first time ever I didn’t have to ask for more. We also got the Bay fried with queso and OMG is that a winner!!! I didn’t get pictures because I was roo intent on stuffing my face!

Loved this place! Food was bomb and they had reasonable prices!! This was my first time in and from now on when I’m in Clearwater this will definitely be a staple. Chicken sandwich was so tasty. Pub pretzel was great and so were the chicken wings. Ribs were delicious. Samantha our server was great as well!! Great food and atmosphere!!

Nice place to have a drink. Patio is nice! Service at the bar was way off with no contact for over 10 minutes and zero follow ups after my first drink and they weren’t really that busy. Wednesday night is fun with music bingo…great music and fun entertainment!!! Overall good and fun.

Our group of friends from the UP (Michigan) stopped by The Boxer for a quick lunch with wings and this place did not disappoint. We got all flavors of wings – Nashville, Buffalo, BBQ(boneless), Firecracker and Lemon Pepper (Dry Rub) wings. 10 wings for $17 seems pricey but the flavors were good so it was worth it along this beach location. Our server was awesome and she was able to keep our drinks full and was very accommodating to our questions. This restaurant looks like the place to be for sports events or just having a good time with friends. There are also shirts for sale including some UPF long sleeve shirts that were very soft if you’re out in the sun all day! 5/5 I’d go back.

Great bar that stays open till 1AM that includes the kitchen. Great food that caught me off guard for late night bite. The menu has a lot of options. The blue smash burger was amazing and huge.

I was in Clearwater for a vacation and wound up going here to watch the Super Bowl. Great atmosphere and the wings and nachos were top-notch. For dinner I had the hamburger and it definitely was amazing. Highly recommend for someone staying in the Clearwater area for high-quality food and many many TVs to watch your favorite event.

The double smash burgers are so flavorful and good. If you want a really good burger go here. Also the vibes are really chill and there’s plenty of TVs on to watch sports.. bartenders are very attentive and were on point. I recommend the cowboy burger with onion strings, bacon, bbq sauce.. and upgrade to sweet potato fries! Also the jalepeno bacon wrapped pepper poppers were out of this world good.
