Came here before a flight out and had the best experience trying various bourbons. The selections include extremely rare bourbons and Craig gave us a lesson on bourbon, various rare bottles, what makes each bottle unique, etc. I have flown numerous times out of this airport and don’t know why I haven’t been here before. Will definitely be back.

I stopped at The Bourbon Library during a recent trip through Lexington, and honestly the experience didn’t match the price point. I paid around $43 for an entrée and a cocktail, but the food presentation was sloppy and underwhelming. For a restaurant inside an airport, I expected more polish.
Service also left a lot to be desired. When I left the table briefly, my cash was taken but the table wasn’t cleared, and I was never given a receipt. Even small things like being handed ketchup packets felt out of place for a place of this caliber — it reminded me more of fast food than a sit-down restaurant. Overall, I’d suggest looking at other options in the airport if you want quality and professionalism.

Dean was an amazing bartender and server. As the bar got full he greeted every guest. No one was missed or forgotten. He made follow up rounds to ensure everyone was good. He gave great recommendations for bourbon. He provided the best service while he patient with each guest and keeping a smile.

Food is fantastic!! I was delayed and ended up coming back several times. Never disappointed, so many Gluten Free options!! The chicken tenders were crunchy and so much better than the typical. Best burger I think I’ve ever had!! And the wall of Bourbon is pretty impressive, even for Ky!!

Love this place! Always stop in for tater skins and double shot Jim and Ginger. Doubles are half off second shot.. this airport is so so easy and fast… you will never fly in and out of anywhere else in this area. And the people.. so nice and down home, you will like them better than your own family!AND, you CAN buy bourbon and take on board your checked bag at the gate! You can buy a drink at the bar and take to your gate. Don’t pass up the bourbon balls at the gift shop… see ya next time!

The food is disgusting. The drink I ordered was served in a sticky, dirty glass that I had sent back. I do not recommend. This place has to be a health hazard. Go to the Mexican restaurant instead.

The bartenders were nice. Grant took our food order ( I specifically know it was him because I had to ask him about gluten free and what his favorite sauce was to which he answered BBQ) which I’m sure is great but we never got our food to know and instead of owning that he forgot to put it in, claimed he never took our order with a slight attitude. I hope your experience is better than ours because we’ve heard it’s great but this experience was not.
