Just enjoyed lunch over at The Boss while getting some work done on my car nearby. A very sweet and patient lady kindly help guide me through what to order, as I had never been and could not decide what to get. I had a Thai Iced Tea flavored bubble tea, chicken ginger soup, and Pad Thai with shrimp – which when I told her I wanted a little spicy she recommended i ordered 1.5 (out of 5 spicy scale). Everything was wonderful, including the service! The restaurant’s parking lot/nearby intersection location isn’t the quietest, but the staff is friendly, they have a great lunch combination deal, and a handful of tables to dine in.

I’ve ordered takeout multiple times now from both the Wakefield and Barrington locations. I am a self-proclaimed Thai food snob. The Boss’s drunken noodles, fresh rolls, and Tom Ka soup are perfect. The lunch special that allows me to combine all three for less than $20 is even better than perfect.

If you haven’t tried The Boss Thai in Wakefield, definitely give it a shot! It was delicious and reasonably priced!
I had their chicken pad thai lunch special with crab rolls and both were so fresh and phenomenal. 10/10! (spice level 2 gave a good mouth feel and flavor) The waitress was so kind and friendly as well and the atmosphere was clean, relaxing and intimate.
Will 100% make this a go to spot!

We chose this place simply because it seemed reasonably priced and we were looking for something nearby after the DMV. It was so good! We got the pad kee mao, nime chow, pad thai and chicken satay – highly recommend them all.
And the waitress was very sweet. We’ll be back when we’re in the area again.

Food was delicious! It came hot and very fresh! I will be going back again!I ordered TomYum soup with chicken and it was outstanding. I also got the fresh spring rolls with tofu which were fantastic and refreshing with a burst of cucumber. The lemon grass chicken was hot and fresh but maybe a wee bit too strong in flavor. It was good though especially with all the vegetables and jasmine rice. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes! Very friendly service too.

Amazing service!! I was looking to get bubble tea but I have a dairy allergy which made this a bit challenging. They were extremely patient and attentive to helping me navigate the menu and super accommodating all while working through language barriers over Google translate. They went above and beyond I look very forward to more trips here! Highly recommend the lime Thai iced tea it was amazing!
