This was the best Mexican food we’ve had in a long we love Mexican food….this was top notch and we will definitely make the hour trip just to eat there again….the cheese dip was creamy and the food was divine tender flavorful meat and great service…I appreciate everything this restaurant stands for…so good if you’re driving through do stop and eat here worth it!!!

We used to love this place. Servers are always attentive. But food quality has gone down hill. The food isn’t fresh, the prices keep going up and the portions going down. You shouldn’t have to pay extra to get cheese on a dish that advertises cheese…. I mostly cook at home so we rarely eat out so when we ordered out tonight I honestly was shocked at how drastically the quality had gone down hill since we last ate here. The food was dry, cold and didn’t taste right. Like maybe it wasn’t any good. Idk. We won’t be eating here again.

I would give this place a 0 if possible. No melted cheese over nachos supreme I ordered chicken and beef taqutitos I got all chicken no beef dry very dry no flavor at all. Told our waitress when she finally came back to our table when we were half through our meals. She states why didn’t you tell me? What!!! I said I would have but you’ve not been back to check on our food!!! Please don’t waste your time and Money on this place not worth it all!!

The Border Mexican Restaurant is a delicious slice of Mexican cuisine with great service and an amiable atmosphere. The inside decor is just regular looking and very similar to any other Mexican restaurant, but it belies the exceptional food and friendly staff. I am a regular, now!!! Their Pollo con Crema is fantastic as are their tacos and Texas Dip.

The new Fajita Bowl is delicious and I would highly recommend it to anyone. It had avocado, mango salsa, lettuce, chicken, black beans, etc and was wonderfully prepared.

Great food friendly service! We arrived at 6:30 Friday and they were quite busy. They found us seats at the bar as requested. Cold Amber Dos Equis were in order and Filipe was on it. Filipe was very helpful with the expansive menu. FE had the chicken fajita taco salad. She really enjoyed and lots of chicken. I had the carnitas which were tender and spiced well. Lots of food. Would recommend!
