Wonderful place to have Indian dishes. Tasty food and drinks. Friendly staff, nice environment with adequate spaces. It’s lovely to meet Richard and Kevin and the chef, thanks a lot guys for your great hospitality. They have got their own free parking with ample space behind the restaurant, so no more hassle going round N round for the parking. Would love to visit again.

Absolutely brilliant place. Went for father’s day lunch. Service and food were fantastic! As soon as we sat down drink orders were taken and no delay in taking food orders. Food was a good length of time and quality was brilliant. Portions are large and great value for money, had a father’s day 3 course special menu on. Would 100% recommend the Bombay Cottage.

All of the staff are friendly and attentive.

Lively atmosphere and clearly a community favourite. We were visiting and came across the restaurant. Food was mixed in review for our booking, some had very artificial colours e.g. the sweet n sour poori and the mushroom chaat, and just didn’t feel fresh and quite oily. Some dishes like the lamb massanda was well cooked and flavours were well balanced. The garlic naan was a little burned but generally a welcomed addition to the meal. Service was excellent and attentive at all times.

Looked online and seen the Sunday brunch menu for 15.99 for 3 courses.
On arrival I was given a menu which was 19.99 (festive menu) no mention of this online.
Starters were lovely. My main which was a chasni was good. My husband ordered the balti, which was bland and very little sauce. He was disappointed.
I was full after the first two courses. So asked for a coffee for my desert, asked for a cappuccino or latte. Was told this would cost me extra. Options were a tea or basic coffee. Thought this was poor considering the overpriced menu.
Got the bill. Paid £10 for a prosecco and £7 for a nan.
(If you want to take anything home. They charge 95p for a small foil container. They will be buying in bulk so totally overcharging for this, just squeezing every penny from you- very poor-no respect for this part)
Totally overpriced in my opinion.
Not worth the money.
Won’t be back.

I had an unreal curry here. I have never seen a naan so big! The staff here are very friendly and take great pride in what they do here. The feel around the place is great, a lovely place to enjoy a curry.

Having visited the restaurant over the last 20 years I recommended it to a friend. We didnt book as it was after Xmas and thought it would be quiet. I arrived first and the lady greeter was actually quite rude, she then spoke to the manager about a table and I was told to wait at the bar. My friend arrived and we were seated shortly after.
We ordered starters but we’re already being made to feel we were an inconvenience based on the service and attitude of said manager. We then decided we would just pay for starters and go elsewhere, the manager clearly wasn’t happy and made this known in his demeanor.
Needless to say, based on this poor experience I won’t be back.. they have lost a customer of 20 years .

Just had a very expensive Christmas Dinner here and left extremely disappointed. The food was cold, pigs in blankets were processed sausage with no bacon and the veg was cold mush. We had been overbooked, so ended up at a table beside the bar, my husband had various members of staff rub their backsides on the back of his head. The place was manic, with lots of people without tables. The bar staff bickered continually and I will NEVER go back. A member of staff commented on the fact my husband had eaten very little, then ignored the fact he said it was “not great”
