This place was awesome and im definitely coming back! The food was amazing, cooked just right, and really fresh. The crab bags looked great and its seems as though the shrimp is a big hit here. The cat fish dinner was soo good. And the gumbo was the best. Not to hot and just right. I definitely recommend! Javi was a good server and made sure we had what we needed before hand. Javier did a great job BUT THE GUMBO NEEDS TO BE MOREEE!!

Wait time was long: 45 minutes. Cleanliness poor. Food was ok. Waitress was rude, and then she swapped with a different person who was a bit better, but I don’t think I would return. Not worth it!
I always leave a tip, but this time, it was a hard “no tip”. Read notes on receipt for notes I left.
Despite the bad service, I was trying to be positive and leave a tip, but the thing that made me choose to not leave a tip was that the waitress brought three “to go” bags I requested. As she was approaching my table she dropped them on the floor, hesitated a few seconds to pick them up, but she picked them up and handed them to me like that. Extremely unsanitary! She didn’t even give me a chance to say something because she said, “It’s to go” and then walked away. WTH!!

MANAGEMENT YOU NEED TO TRAIN YOUR STAFF BETTER!!!

The service here is top notch. The food is the best seafood boil we’ve had in California. Only complaint is the wait but that means it’s great right?

Love this place. Come here from Reno. We got shrimp and crab legs whole shabang medium, lemon pepper fries. You have to try this place if you like shrimp crab etc. came here on a Thursday not many people but still had to wait but that was no issue it went fast. Parked in a parking garage around the corner for $20

This boiling crab always gives me a good experience. I been here several times, the street parking here is rough so find a parking lot and walk to it.

The seafood is alway good. Crawfish are always market price. The whole Shabang seasoning is the best with any shellfish. The catfish basket and the bang bang shrimps are always a good option too.
Get a cold beer with it, and you can’t go wrong. The servers are
Always friendly and efficient. Food comes out quick too.
Expect to get messy here and it’s sexy to eat with your hands and feed each other if you are out with your date.

It’s right across from the Crest Theater!

The Boiling Crab always makes me happy when I eat there. Their seafood is fresh, and the sauces are delicious. I like their dining room and the atmosphere. The workers are very attentive, too. There is sometimes a long wait on the weekends. Both a parking garage and street parking are available in the area. The good thing is that I never had problems getting a parking space near the restaurant.

Boiling crab .. let’s say its okay.. I travel to this locations from Ohio to San Diego to Washington and so on… this one isnt as great.. let start with the restrooms… they stink .. yall just opened up and can’t keep restrooms clean im not going to spend my hard earned cash with ya .. second the Sauce.. weak weak weak ive tried the XXHOT and my home made is hotter than the broil offers… 3rd. Sauce served in the back seems like all water I dont see Sauce I see juice and flavor is not there… bland.. had to buy separate sauce to accommodate the flavor that it should already have… okay so this was my second time going . First time I said okay they just opened up let give them the benefit of the doubt… big negative went again and it was much worse .. again I travel to these locations to try them out. Im just honest about the experience. Make from that what you want its on point .. on to the next one…

I had an amazing experience at The Boiling Crab! Our waitresses, Javi and Lluvia, were absolutely awesome. So friendly, attentive, and on top of everything the entire time. They made sure we were taken care of and really made our visit so much fun. The service was outstanding, and it made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back because of them!

My family and I enjoyed tasting TBC shrimp and wings food here, in our own experience staff was friendly and we liked the experience using just your hands to eat, yes, no cutlery, your food will arrive in a bag.
Used 3 starts because waiting time is long (understandable because a busy place on weekends) because of it I will suggest do a few improvements on the waiting room .
Also there is no parking lot.

The food is good here but the wait was really long and the service was really slow. I’m not sure the cost was worth the experience. We had 6 people in our party, spent over $300 and left hungry. Unfortunately it seems like all the seafood is steamed in some type of chili spice and there aren’t other options. You can adjust the level of spiciness but not remove the chili flavor. I doubt I would choose to go back. It isn’t worth it.
