The pizza flavor combos are spot on and there is a lot of potential, but there is not nearly enough meat or cheese on the pizza I got. It was mostly onion and balsamic. The space is cool, but it almost feels like you’re interrupting someone else’s party. If you’re not regularly getting drinks here, your service won’t be as good.

I’d give them overall a 2.5 on the food…accuracy and value is what brings them down. The pizzas are delicious, although overpriced in my opinion. The service and drinks are usually pretty good…but it is hit or miss. The frustrating thing is , tonight, I ordered a whole garden salad to complement our pizzas, added tomatoes (which we didn’t get and they cost $2 to add), and it was almost $16…and the to-go container was BARELY filled up. It was more like an $7 salad. If I were going to make that same salad at home, I don’t even think it would’ve cost $5 to make. I get running a business and earning a profit, but this was ridiculous. You never really know what you’re going to get when you go here…so keep your expectations low.

There used to be good trivia on Tuesdays, now there is annoying children’s music combined with folklore songs about beer. Food is a bit pricey, the staff is really nice, and the food tastes good

Had a great time overall. One thing I didn’t like with the food was that the artichoke dip was really salty, mind you we also had the pretzel alongside it which is covered in salt and we thought the artichoke dip was still to salty. The dip itself is really tasty with big chunks of artichokes in there and very cheesy flavor.
Atmosphere is 4/5, we chose to sit outside and there’s an outdoor sound system. It played music the whole time at the right volume but occasionally we would hear what appears to be kitchen noises such as employees talking and metal hitting metal through the sound system and it was too loud. There must be a microphone somewhere inside picking up on that. It was slightly unpleasant. Overall, 4/5, very good and fun place

Pizza was fantastic, but we nearly went deaf while eating and the service was slow. Everyone at our table complained about the volume of the music. I would return for the pizza if the volume was lower. They were busy, sure, and our waitress was great, but the service was pretty slow. We got our drinks pretty quickly, and pizza reasonably quick, but didn’t get water until we were done with our pizza. It also took over 15 minutes to get our check after we asked, which made us feel trapped, and it was wrong when we got it, we’d been charged for a beer that we didn’t drink, and the food was all charged to one person. They took the extra beer off with no questions, and we redistributed money amongst ourselves for the food. Again, they were busy, but the service was low key unacceptable.

Stopped in after a 300 mile ride. On a HOT day the AC was broke! Was hotter inside than outside! Only 1 waitress working…
Auburn was her name and she was just exceptional! She was very polite, friendly and worked as quick as she could with a semi packed place. This customer experience along with the excellent food as normal will have us returning..
Would be 5 stars but this is not the first time we have stopped in and the AC was not working. I hope they fix soon but other reviews appear to point it out also.
If you get Auburn you are lucky and remember to tip her excellent!

We have always had great food and service whenever we go to the Boiler Room for dinner but yesterday we stopped by for lunch. I enjoyed the lunch salad and personal pesto /chicken pizza which was big enough to take a few slices home. My husband was happily surprised to find the Smackys Rueben sandwich on the menu along with some other of our favorite Smackys sandwiches. We had not realized that Matt one of the owners of The Boiler Room was associated with Smackys on Broadway our go-to for great sandwiches whenever we are anywhere near the Fairgrounds area.
