First time here and we tried the cheesesteak hoping to get something like one from back in PA. We ordered with onions and peppers and when we got it, it had mushrooms on it. Server said she would have them re-make my husband’s and brought out with more fries, I was ok with them. We both were not fans of it, my husband got bad diarrhea and it’s been backing up on me since I ate it. The roll was the best part except for the sogginess. The fries were good. If we go back, we would try something else. Definitely wouldn’t recommend the cheesesteak to anyone. $18.50 is way too high of a price for it, even if it was the best cheesesteak ever! They did have a $2.50 special on yiengling bottle which was good. Hopefully, other food is better.

This place is SO GOOD and the atmosphere is great! Our server Melissa was AWESOME! She was super friendly and gave us quick service! We ordered and the food came out fast. It was hot and delicious.

If you are looking for one of the best small restaurants in Bradenton, Sarasota or Manatee county area this is the place.

We had Cheese steaks, fries with cheese, and onion straws! Our server recommended that we try the Key Lime Pie and we are so glad we did! This may be the best key lime pie in the area.

They also have great music playing and a pool table to enjoy.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The hostess was extremely friendly & helpful since my mom & I both walk with a cane she made sure she seated us to our desired table. Our server didn’t introduce herself but was extremely friendly, Nancy. We split the onion rings which were a very light batter & a dill ranch dip, it was very good. Then we split a full cheese steak with xtra provolone & mushrooms. It was huge & excellent with seasoned shoe string french fries. It ALL was worth the money we spent. Also 2 sweet teas that were Lucky Leaf or whatever that is individual small bottles. I would definitely go back again.

5 stars for family friendly atmosphere, great food, and cold beer! The owners Staci and Josh have worked so hard alongside their staff to bring back the Boiler Room and boy have they outdone themselves! We have been many times since they re-opened the doors, and every time has been great service and delicious food. Kid approved too! They were also very accommodating when we brought 11 family members in for Monday night football! We cannot recommend Boiler Room enough. YUM!

UPDATE: decided to give it another try because it was highly recommended by friends. Second attempt was MUCH better all around. Felt welcomed, sat at the bar again, was greeted and attended to right away (& it was just as busy as the last time we visited). Joey was great, I love it when I get recommendations on what to order and how to order it (& it turns out good). The food was good, key lime pie was delicious. After this experience I would recommend and go back.

PRIOR REVIEW: Walked in sat at the bar (plenty of seating and plenty of room at the bar) . Bartender said 45-1 hr wait on food ….see all the tickets behind me (there was literally one) so we left. Fist timers and won’t be back

If your a local, the only way I can explain it is if you came home after being gone for a few years and your parents remodeled their house. It still feels like home, but has a more updated open look. The food is still excellent and there are even some additional menu items that we love(TRY THE CAESAR!). The owners have decades of restaurant and hospitality experience and it shows from the moment you walk through the door. I have a lot of good memories with my dad in this building and I’m looking forward to many more memories with my boys!

I went for the first time last week and I have to say that I was quite disappointed. The service and staff were good but the food far from delicious.
Being born and raised in Philly I’ve had more than my share of cheesesteaks and will quickly realize when one isn’t that good. The problem that I noticed right away was that the roll was toasted and somewhat burnt. With every bite I was tasting burnt bread, and that killed the sandwich for me. I really couldn’t judge the rest of it based on how the burnt roll was taking over the taste of everything, I should’ve sent it back. Next we have the fries which my friend that I went with raved about. They also tasted funny as if they were freezer burnt or had gone bad. The taste was slightly off/odd and I barely ate any of them.
Will I return, maybe???
If I do, I will ask for the roll not to be toasted.
