What a unique little spot!
The chicken sandwich was outstanding. Simple but so delicious. The atmosphere was fun with many different packaged food and fresh food items. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying out more sandwiches! The chocolate chip cookies, biscotti and miso rice crispy were all so good.

Love this little market and the cozy, inviting vibe! “Your local grab and go” is their tag line, but don’t think this is a run-of-the-mill convenience store! They feature premium and unique items, many of which are locally sourced. We stopped in on a Saturday morning with plans to try their newly featured bagels, and I was intrigued and excited to try one with the smoked white fish spread. Unfortunately, they were sold out by the time we arrived (it’s a popular spot, and many fan favorites go quickly, so arrive early!), so we went with the sausage/egg/cheese/dijonnaise/curry ketchup breakfast sando on English muffin and lemon and lavender scone. O…M….G!!!! It was absolutely AMAZING!!! Not sure where they sourced the sausage, but the flavor and spice were ON POINT, and the combination of that with the other sandwich components and the English muffin created a mouthful of heaven! The lemon lavender scone was scrumptious as well; it had a delicious flavor and crumbly, fluffy goodness! The Bodega will definitely be one of our common stops when visiting Greencastle!

Just got a sausage egg sandwich and a coffee from The Bodega. My sandwich was amazing- no surprise there. I love how there’s always extra flavor in there than just a regular old sandwich. BUT today was the first day I got a coffee. I usually pass because it’s in a thermos but I kid you not… this coffee is the best in town, easily. Every time I go in there they have new products and new features- just keeps getting better and better.

Great coffee and house-made take-away breakfast and lunch sandwiches, snacks/cold salads, and pantry staples that are hard to find elsewhere in town. Highly recommend the curry chicken salad and Whisk Mix, as welll as bacon-egg-cheese sandwich (it’s very large!). Wonderful atmosphere and staff. Though the Bodega is set up for take-away service only, there is often seating available in a community room nearby.

Very nice small environment offering unique food, drinks, and gifts. It was my first time, and I really enjoyed the ham sandwich. The sweet snack was very tasty, a caramel, expresso rice crispy. The drink selection is varied and excellent for the person looking for a change, I purchased cold, Ginger Teramec tea. I also purchased a “Whisk” shirt for my friend. She loved it.
My next visit, I plan to purchase some olives.
We support local entrepreneurs and the owners, Joel and Tash, owners of the Whisk bar have done an outstanding job in taking their dream and expanding it to include the people of Greencastle and other nearby cities.
If you want a change of everyday, stop in The Bodega, I do not think you will be disappointed.

Stopped in and had a wonderful sausage and egg sandwich this morning on a homemade English muffin. I also grabbed a piece of Basque cheesecake which was really out of this world and very distinct from other cheesecakes. Truly wonderful. Coffee was great as well and our host behind the register was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Can’t wait to see future offerings from this spot!.

We stayed the night in town while traveling for spring break. We needed something quick, healthy, and delicious to get back on the road.
The lady working was friendly, helpful, and quick. She made sure we had enough coffee to add in our insulated mugs and napkins for our breakfast sandwich.
We ordered bacon, egg, cheese breakfast sandwich. They were warm, fresh, and delicious. Would definitely stop and go again.

The breakfast sandwich I got was perfect! It tasted amazing and hit the spot after a long 12 hour night shift. The vibes were cozy and welcoming and the person who took my order was the sweetest human ever. I will definitely be back! Maybe to get some other goodies from their selection this next time!
