The service is always great and the margaritas are great here. But I regret to say they cannot cook a burger to order. I ordered a burger well done for a to go order but when I got home to eat it the burger was barely medium. This is not acceptable for such a high priced establishment. Please review your cooking practices for to go orders.

As always, the Bobcat was wonderful. I’m always impressed with the creations they come up with. Tonight I enjoyed the local pork chop with Sandy’s amazing Tree Heat Maple Syrup, an excellent potato salad, and corn with Old Bay butter. Having grown up in Northern Virginia and spending many weeks on the Chesapeake Bay this was definitely a touch of comfort food. The service was fantastic as always. There is a reason I’ve kept returning there again and again for the better part of the last two decades or more. I consider it one of the major benefits of living in this town, and it always feels like a second home.

The hostess was very impolite. She seemed annoyed dealing with customers. We were waiting to check in for a long time; the hostess would not even make eye contact. When we finally were acknowledged and able to check in, she could not find our name on the dinner reservation list. No apologies or even an effort to make up for their mistake. All we got was ” I don’t know what to tell you, I am not in charge of the reservations.” We were welcome to wait but she could not tell us how long the wait was going to be. There were 6 of us there, family and friends. Very disappointing, overall a terrible experience!

We have been coming to the Bobcat regularly since moving to the area in 2021. I admit I was in a rut of ordering the burger because it is the BEST BURGER. And oh, the fries. It was so hard to step out of that rut, but boy am I glad I did. I can’t recount the number of brilliant dishes I have had at the Bobcat. You might not look at the lively pub-like atmosphere and expect something like thai cucumber gazpacho or curried salmon or a “big” salad with all of the week’s best produce from local farms and an inventive dressing matched to the ingredients. But that is what you can get. Along with friendly, experienced service and the buzz of happy regular diners alongside visitors who have found their way by word of mouth. We are so grateful to have this gem in our “neighborhood”. Oh – and don’t forget to save room for the amazing ice cream sandwiches made with Jones the Boy cookies – not to be missed!

We’ve been to this establishment twice; the first time, there was different management, but the food and drink were exceptional both times! We were able to select several vegetarian dishes–all excellent. The potato skillet with brie and tapenade, the teriyaki rice bowl and the large salad were all tasty and not a false note in any. I was especially happy with the salad, which featured locally grown greens (not rotten prepackaged mix!) and pickled mixed vegetables. The teriyaki tofu was delicious and inspired me to make it at home. Great beer, good service and a fun atmosphere to boot. We love it and will eat here again!

We drove from Shoreham and sat at a window table The menu is very unique and literally takes you around the world. Outstanding Thai Gazpacho to start with. Followed by the Miso poached shrimp with ramen noodles and the Morrocan Duck leg tangine. Excellent house cocktails too. Make a reservation if you can. The locals have been coming back for over 10 years.

What a lovely oasis in Bristol! Our server was so kind, and they made an amazing dirty martini! Don’t leave without trying the Misty Knoll wings in the tree heat spicy maple flavor… Yum!!

Pretty average overall, but the service we got was bad. Called to see if i needed a reservation for two, and was told to just come in but I may have to wait. Showed up and was asked if I had a reservation, and was told there were no tables. There were 3 tables free, 1 two person table and 2 four person tables, all with cleaned with Silverware setup. I was told we would have to wait, but we could eat at the bar. I asked for a table, but said we would have a drink at the bar while we waited. Well ended up having to eat at the bar, even though the free tables were never filled. The food and drinks were alright, but I don’t understand why we weren’t allowed a table. I’m guessing they were holding tables for larger groups, but there was a two person table free the whole time we were there, so I don’t really understand why we were treated like this. I don’t think we’ll go back.

What a place!! Upscale, but welcoming. Refined, but cozy. You couldn’t ask for a better spot to sit down and have dinner in this charming town.

The quality of the food reminds me of time spent in a college dorm cafeteria. It’s a mish-mash of wannabe ethnic foods but with a lack of understanding of flavors from those regions- or rather, a lack of flavor in general.
