With a stunning 360-degree view of the lake—indoors and outdoors, The Boathouse offers handicap inclusive seating on the first floor of the building and additional seating for all patrons on the second floor. Our first time here and we had a wonderful experience even on a busy Saturday afternoon! We were a large group and they had no problem finding seating for us. The service was efficient even for our large group. There was a mix up with two orders but was not our server’s fault and she was very apologetic for this happening. The issue was resolved with no problems. The burgers are spectacular; hot and juicy! We all enjoyed the food and lake view.

The view and atmosphere is spot on for a wonderful backdrop for a nice dinner with family&friends. The menu has a wide variety of choices to appeal to almost anyone, but for the price on their steaks I was expecting something less watered down and more flavor. For the same price the local Texas roadhouse has a 32oz porterhouse that is a better cut, with more flavor any day of the week compared to “the boat house”. The servers we sluggish for most of our meal with refills on drinks or food out on time but when it came toward the end of our meal and the end of their night they were excessively pushy to get us to cash out our check and be done but forgetful on getting us To-go containers so we could cash out our check having to ask 3 seperate times. I would recommend this place but with the realistic expectation that it’s not quite at the quality that their menu prices are asking, you are more paying for the atmosphere and view

This place is horrible. We ordered two appetizers. One came with the meal, one was completely forgotten about. It took an hour from the time we ordered until we even got a salad. After about 70 minutes the server comes out to tell me they are out of what I ordered. WHY DID IT TAKE AN HOUR TO TELL ME THAT? So I definitely didn’t order anything else but I was NOT going to sit another hour for a meal. So I just sat there while my family ate and picked from their leftovers. DO NOT COME HERE.

Very nice wait staff, very good food would recommend and go back. They have boat rentals they have fuel on site it’s pretty cool to see the carp swimming around. The gift shop has some cute stuff also. We went for lunch.

Had horrible experience all around we got told an hour wait waited an hour and got told we had to wait 45 minutes. Finally got in there awful service had to ask for a lot because we got no silverware, highchair and refills had to go up there on our own to get refills. Server didn’t check on us to see if anything was ok or anything it was absolutely ridiculous and here we got charged almost $100 of food with awful service.
