Very nice looking outside onto the lake and boats. Mostly sandwiches offered, but we all had something different everything was delicious. I would go back again. But maybe on a warmer day. Parking is up a paved hill which was steep.

We asked for outdoor seating and were told it would be about a 20–30 minute wait. Gave our number, but after checking back around the 45-minute mark, we found out it had been erased and we never got a call. Mistakes happen, but it was a little disappointing.

On the bright side, the food was tasty—even though they were out of the pineapple bowl, they served the fixings and it still hit the spot. The view of the sunset was beautiful, and our waitress was kind and attentive, which definitely helped make up for the rocky start.

Overall, a good experience once we were seated, but a little more organization at the front could make it even better.

This place has a great vibe.
The food is excellent. I have never been disappointed here. Staff is friendly and works hard to keep guests happy. This marina has hot it together. Shower houses, house boat rental, pontoon rental, gift shop, gas, and fuel. Highly recommend

Our first time here and we had a wonderful experience even on a busy Saturday afternoon! We were a large group and they had no problem finding seating for us. The service was efficient even for our large group. There was a mix up with two orders but was not our server’s fault and she was very apologetic for this happening. The issue was resolved with no problems. The burgers are spectacular; hot and juicy! We all enjoyed the food and lake view.

The overall experience was great.
The Marina was one of the nicer ones we’ve been to in KY thus far. Beautiful view of the sunset.
The restaurant was very clean and had an amazing view of the sunset as well. It was also stunning from the top deck seating area.
The food was very good, not great. Nothing was wrong with the food, but it wasn’t a “Wow, let’s go eat (insert whatever here) again.” Big portions, and everything was fresh and hot.
The Marina deck was very well maintained with rocking chairs and nice benches to sit on. You could play cornhole and a few other games while taking in the views.
We didn’t rent a pontoon boat, but we definitely will be doing that next summer. They were very well maintained, and the prices for a daily rental were quite reasonable.
We didn’t go into the gift shop/convenience store, but from the outside, it was huge. If a full sit-down meal isn’t your thing, they had a snack bar you could order from, as well.
There are so many things I’ve not mentioned. I suggest everyone go there and experience this wonderful Marina for yourselves.

So I come from the lake ready to get my grub on and the food takes 1+ hours just for the appetizer and then another 30 to 45 minutes for my cold, overcooked steak. I asked for a medium rare Sirloin steak and in this picture might frighten you, but this is what I received on my plate. I suggest you guys stay away from the boathouse marina thank you for your time. trust me if I could leave zero stars I would.

My wife and I decided to have dinner out on the lake in early October on a warm and clear evening. This was our second time dining at the Boathouse and both meals were awesome. Taylor provided exceptional service, was friendly and prompt with our drinks, food order and check. One of the best service experience I have had on the lake in a long time. Thank you Taylor!!

Seldom do I leave a restaurant before placing an order, but our recent visit to The Boathouse Restaurant made that decision very easy. We’ve dined there many times over the years. The food has always been good—though consistently overpriced—and the service has ranged from attentive to indifferent.

Unfortunately, our last visit (and I do mean last) crossed a line. My wife ordered a sweet tea with no lemon, and I asked for a diet coke. When the drinks arrived, her tea came with a large lemon wedge. She politely reminded the server of her request, who then returned with a new glass and slammed it onto the table with clear irritation.

That kind of behavior is unacceptable in any setting, let alone one where hospitality is supposed to matter. We don’t have time for temper tantrums, so we stood up and left.
