Great for birthdays and anniversary was not disappointed at all. Reserved a table online with no issue. Arrived and was seated in a matter of minutes. Nice selection of food and drinks. Nice views of the James river. A lot of seating options for both indoor and outdoor. Will go back again soon. Food was priced well. Elevator is available if needed or you can use the stairs.

Great food at all of the Boathouse Restaurants in Richmond. But this one has the others beat on location, views, and atmosphere. Great service as well. The Boathouse at Rocketts Landing fits in perfectly with the revitalized downtown living along the waterfront, with boat slips, and eating places/bars. Check it out!

Our waitress was very nice. I made reservations for outside seating, but we couldn’t sit outside, I forgot why we couldn’t, but anyway beautiful view, but it would be more prettier at night to see buildings in background with lights. Food was very good came out nice and hot.

My girlfriends and I recently enjoyed lunch here after the UKrops 10k. The restaurant was able to accommodate our large party with two tables on short notice. The service, food and drinks were outstanding. Although raining, the view from the restaurant was beautiful as well. Our server Shamar made the experience delightful. He was courteous, friendly and very helpful in menu suggestions. We will definitely be back!

Spent my birthday, and I was NOT disappointed!! Cocktails were poured to perfection, ALL the food was fresh, and the views were spectacular. I highly recommend the oysters, Brussel sprouts, and the burger. Also, our waitress Tara was kind and very efficient.

I absolutely love Boathouse. Each time I’ve gone I’ve received exemplary service. The Sea Ghost is delicious and I’m glad two is the limit because whew you’ll be drunk off more than two. The oysters are fresh. The fried ones aren’t pictured but they are so juicy and keep the texture even though they’re fried. I don’t know which style I like best. Additionally the Oscar was definitely phenomenal. They know how to make a medium steak the right way. The calamari are great too.

Good food. Service was ok. Had to get my own silverware. That didn’t tick me off. What ticked me off was realizing that they charge automatic gratuities and still have the audacity to have a tip option when signing the bill. Why?!?

The food was just ok for one of Richmond’s pricier meals. Enjoyable, but nothing to write home about. Service was SLOW and fairly inattentive. It’s one thing to enjoy great company and an unhurried meal; it’s another to be looking around wondering if someone is going to check to see what’s needed. You’ll have to go and decide for yourself, but I don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon.

Sat at the bar and we would return just for the bartender Kadesha. She was lovely and helped us pick out an appetizer and was able to answer questions and when no other customers were there we chatted about things as she did some work behind the bar. The oyster appetizer was great and the orange crush was refreshing. We will return to try some other delicious looking drinks she made some other customers.
