Make sure you call first! They may close the entire place if they run out of some food. Menu and food have definitely improved. 4 stars on the food because the batter on the fish tacos were way too salty, but they had great flavor. Good wings. Friendly service and good drinks. Will definitely come back.

The photos you see on the boat house was the beautiful view of the water well it fooled us. Instead of view of water it was full of boats in front of us. SMH. I don’t understand why there was only one waitress working, she was nice but we did not get no refill on water, took 2.5 hours wait for appetizers, poor portion on food, and full of disappointment. I wonder how did this place even got 4 stars?

My first time visiting this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice, the service was wonderful, the scenery is lovely, but the food could have been prepared better. While mostly everything was tasty, it was fried for too long. Everything was way too crispy and tough to chew, including the fish & chips and the platter. This used to be one of our favorite places but a year ago it changed and it wasn’t good. We decided to try it again and it was great food was correct and fast and even a better menu. Miss the summit cider but 2 towns is good too. Was unsure about coming back but love the place again now. Highly recommend after a day on the lake. It’s busy and they are doing their best with covid…
2024 update – cam back still a struggle food was a 2 hour wait and they wouldn’t take our order until we have been sitting for 45 min – ordered a margarita and tasted like orange juice even had a orange in it. When I question it they said that how they do it in Idaho not sure what that means but 16$ oj was not ideal I’ll try again next year… this place should be killing it

Try the shareable drink called the Sand Pail
After some boating, we docked at the marina to grab some food and drinks. There were 10 of us and we were all served within 10-15 minutes. The food was fresh and filling. We ended up staying for the fun atmosphere, good drinks, and friendly staff. We all loved the fries, sandwiches, sauerkraut hot doffs, and burgers. Can’t wait to make this our regular boating stop.
I can’t emphasize the accommodating staff. With the recent change in management, the managers and staff are so friendly and welcoming to this dock side paradise. ♀️

What a place!
The boathouse restaurant blew me away with their new menu. Everything smelled so incredible. I had a Boathouse burger with sweet potato fries that was out of this world!
The patio is lined with beautiful flowers and the ambience is to die for – you’re overlooking Hayden lake with great food and drinks. What a great spot !

The fish tacos are fairly mainstream style, not bad, not great. Service was ok if slightly inattentive, took about ten minutes to get someone’s attention so I could pay and leave.
It’s nice to sit in the porch area, but cushions on the chairs would be a definite improvement.

Great place in Hayden lake to grab a bite to eat after boating or if you are near by. Only one plant based option ( Cowboy Caviar) and although it was tasty it was a bit acidic for my tongue. However the service was great with some of the nicest staff I have been around in a long time. Atmosphere is great with views of the dock/lake.I would go back with friends or family for the lake vibe.

Favorite place to take visiting guests!! The laid back environment is complemented by exceptional service ( Jayden) and a versatile menu! Something special about the ambiance and French fries!!! Also chatted with Gunner about boat rentals! He’s very knowledgeable about the lake and super friendly. We’ll call him when our next set of guests are coming to town!!

Really an awesome place especially for dinner and a sunset, quick service and good food. As well as pet friendly, I recommend the colors light and the sheet nachos with ribeye. Please forgive my poor photography, also good sized portions.
