This is my personal favorite. We eat here every time we visit PCB! The Special Filet is AMAZING. Literally all I’ve ever ordered as a main dish. The fried gator appetizer is delicious (gator really does taste like chicken). It’s an old tried and true Panama City Beach restaurant, and it’s well worth a visit! First picture is of the Special Filet in it’s brown, garlic butter sauce. Other orders include the Center Cut sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes and the Shrimp Scampi. D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!

It really could be a nice place, but it needs a major update. It’s just not clean, furniture is outdated, smells old. Food was just meh…plus there was nobody. Felt like a haunted house. Staff was nice and courteous. It’s still a tad better than all the over priced fried food places around.

Honestly our favorite restaurant We drive an hour and back often just to take in the unique experience they have to offer. It’s a trip back in time to a slower-paced world when quality, flavor, presentation and cordiality reigned supreme. No detail is overlooked, they are attentive to your every need without being intrusive and the menu selection is wide-ranging and beyond compare, offering all the best of Florida’s eclectic tastes on the Emerald Coast. Cannot recommend this experience highly enough. Prices are amazingly reasonable–and you will find something everyone in your party will LOVE!

Great food. Amazing steaks. I’ve read some reviews on here about the decor being outdated and that the restaurant caters to the “over 60” crowd. I find the decor comforting and relaxed. I’ve been eating there since it opened. Mom and dad taking taking us to eat there was a ritual. No trip to PCB was complete till we ate there on our last night in town. That the place hasn’t changed much in over 30 years is proof of “why change perfection”! Incredible service, food, drinks and desserts make it my must go to destination still to this day.

When we arrived the restaurant was suspiciously empty with no wait for our party of 11. We thought we were fortuitous but we soon found out the reason why no one was there on a Saturday. The wait staff was great they we’re friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items. They were always quick to refill our glasses. After ordering, the food took 40 minutes to arrive. The dishes were under seasoned and undercooked. It was a disappointment especially for the price. This was my first time to Panama City Beach but if I should return I have no plans of eating at this restaurant again. I would not recommend it.

The choice of meat for the steaks is pretty well. Had little to no gristle although my wife’s steak at medium well had a plate full of blood after first cut. Staff was nice to put it back on the grill and try again with a new plate but still did not get close to medium well. Sea food is on the higher end for price, especially for the king crab legs at 49.99 for a lb and a half. Plenty of sea food near by for cheaper if that is what you like. Building itself is pretty cool looking inside but does show its age. The booth we ate at had the ceiling semi patched from water damage but could see it drop ever now and then from the over hanging above the booth. But was no wait to get in and food is food. If you want best for your dollar than this may not be the first one on your list to try. Hope you have better luck if you do try.

We were celebrating our 50th anniversary with our family and chose this Boars Head for our celebration!
They truly took very good care of us. Our table was away from other guests and the food was delicious. Lots of choices at varying price ranges. Our age range was 72 down to 11 and everyone had good choices. We brought our cake they were kind enough to cut and plate it for us. Ashley was very kind and patient with all of us and her only concern was popping the cork on the champagne! We were never rushed and she made our celebration delightful!

We had an excellent dinner and fantastic service by Simone. She recommended the scamp for me and my husband had the prime rib. The food was delicious!! My daughter is almost two and is very friendly. Every staff member spoke to her as she said her hi and bye to each of them. We love coming here when we visit PCB and Simone made our night even better!
