My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at The Blue Room at Emilia’s. For special occasions, we like to splurge on tasting menus with wine pairings and support local chefs in cities around the USA and abroad. Chef Preston Paine is a talented chef and each dish of his six course tasting menu sourced from Texas was creative and beautifully presented. The venison carpaccio al pastor was exquisite and one of our favorites of the night. The baked potatoes culurgiones was a gourmet twist on traditional pierogis and was a pleasant surprise for a guy like me with grandparents from Eastern Europe who always made pierogis for special occasions and holidays. The only disappointment of the evening was the wagyu, which was served raw. Out of respect for the chef, we didn’t want to send it back to cook longer, because we weren’t sure if he intended to serve it raw. Sommelier Wade was warm, informative, patient and personable. Server Xavier was very attentive and obviously well trained and professional. Despite the disappointment with the wagyu, I give The Blue Room 5 stars due to Chef Paine’s creative dishes sourced from Texas, the beautiful presentation of each dish, and the intimate warmth of the room. We highly recommend and will definitely return the next time we are in Fort Worth.

This was our first time to do a tasting menu and we didn’t know what to expect. The food and the whole experience were just perfect! Some of the best food I have ever had and the presentation was excellent. Perfect for a celebration or date night! Highly recommend the Blue Room!

All around, great experience. From the knowledgeable and expert staff to the delicious food. However, I don’t think they live up to the hype and exclusive story they are trying to portray, hence the 4 stars. The butter and bread, the hors devours… all very good. We got the dover sole and Wagyu filet for the mains and both were cold when they arrived at the table which was surprising as we were literally the only people in the restaurant so I don’t understand how a super exclusive restaurant could serve me a cold steak. It was cooked right, but had obviously been sitting for quite some time. The atmosphere is elegant, yet, refined. Somehow Blue Room is still a well kept secret of Fort Worth… maybe too well kept?

It was a very chic dining experience. The service was excellent, attentive, and friendly. The food was delicious and presented in an artistic manner. They even offer mocktails that are great alternatives to those of us who never acquired the taste of alcohol

The Blue Room @ Emilia’s is an exclusive restaurant with a beautiful, delightful, and comfortable atmosphere. Their staff, who are highly trained, is friendly and accommodating. Overall, it was a good first impression. The only thing is, I don’t recommend going there if you’re hungry. We started off with a great choice of wine. Although the culinary experience was excellent, the main course portions were like appetizer portions.
The first thing they offer is a pre-appetizer menu. The oyster was my choice. The server mentioned it was a teaser, and it was indeed! It was one tiny piece of breaded oyster, served in the shell. That was more of a show than to entice one’s appetite. Following that, there is the complete appetizer menu. We passed on that. I ordered the ‘Pork Secreto’, which consisted of five bitty thin slices of pork served with a small piece of watermelon. The pork was delectable. No sides were offered to accompany the dish. My husband had Chilean Sea Bass. He enjoyed it and expressed his satisfaction with the presentation. There are no options for sides with that either. Although we’re not big eaters, the serving size was not enough when we were excited to savor a wonderful meal. We enjoyed the bread that was served warm, and even asked for seconds.
Without a doubt, the Chef is an artist! The quality of the food is excellent. We didn’t have dessert. We decided to go somewhere else because we did not want any more surprises.
We’ve been to other exclusive restaurants like Monarch and Morton’s, etc., and enjoyed ourselves, leaving satisfied and with a more memorable experience to revisit.

Absolutely fantastic. Celebrated our 10 year anniversary at the Blue Room and cannot wait to return. We did the 8 course tasting menu with the wine pairing and each dish was extremely flavorful and unique, yet flowed together. The service was excellent as the staff were attentive, charming, and knowledgeable. While I am certainly no expert in fine dining, this was definitely one of the most enjoyable meals I’ve ever experienced.

Hidden gem in the Fort Worth 7th Street corridor. We went in January on a Thursday and the experience was incredible. Our 2 servers did a great job and make solid recommendations. All the courses were delicious and the atmosphere was unique. Absolutely will return! Great food presentation!

Great spot, good food, excellent service and atmosphere. My issue comes in when there are very few customers and a dish is sold out (Dover Sole). The fact a reservation requires a credit card hold should also guarantee the entire menu is available when you dine. Also, get it together with the valet. The host/hostess/valet needs to be aware of the fee/no fee of valet without the customer having to find out on their own. A clunky experience with shiny spots.
