All of our ice cream is made from a specialty mix of milk and cream from Hudson Valley Fresh (free from steriods/antibiotics, high fructose corn syrup, and gums). Hudson Valley Fresh is a not-for-profit dairy cooperative formed in 1998 to preserve nine family-owned farms in Duchess and Columbia Counties. Dedicated to quality, sustainability, and local production, Hudson Valley Fresh is the only dairy source I would ever consider for our ice cream!
Quaint staple featuring housemade ice cream created from local ingredients (some grown on-site).

My son was asking for an ice cream cake for his birthday for months.
The young lady who took my order was phenomenal! She was patient, clear, and provided me with all the information I needed. After deciding on a cake and what to write on the cake she went over the order and the spelling of everything twice.
On the day of pickup, I was running late because of the weather, and they were accommodating. Someone answered the phone quickly and hit me with “no problem, we are here and open until 8pm”.
The shop seems to be located on a busy street but I found parking nonetheless.
The store is cute, clean and has blue pigs everywhere. (They also have pints of ice cream ready to buy) After ringing the service bell someone came out promptly with the cake and because I paid when the order was placed I was in and out of there in less than 5 minutes. The best part was the instructions.
I asked the young lady how to store the cake and get it ready for cutting. She replied,
“This is a REAL all-natural ice cream cake with no preservatives, it WILL melt; put it in the freezer and take it out when you’re ready.”
I did what she said!
My family was so happy. It is by far the best ice cream we have had in the US ever. The chocolate was rich, fresh, creamy and delicious. We can’t wait for the next birthday to order again!
Very cozy place and great taste and flavors! I had espresso chips and peanut butter sugar cone crunch. Both were great but peanut was out of this world
My wife had something with banana and she loved it too.
A great great addition to the flavors was the wooden spoons. I love them
They let you get half a scoop so you can try more which was cool.
Everything was great but this place was hyped up like crazy. I was expecting the best ice cream in NY. I’ve had I’ve cream in some really good places and this was good but not the best Ice cream.
I genuinely don’t understand how this place is considered a “town gem.” My experience here was frustrating from start to finish, and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who values decent service or basic quality control.
First of all, they messed up my order by giving me the wrong cone. Instead of fixing it properly like any normal ice cream shop would do, they literally dug out the scoop of ice cream and plopped it onto a different cone. No apology, no care — just sloppy and gross. I’m sorry, but if you mess up the order, the bare minimum is to remake it, not Frankenstein it together like some afterthought.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, the cone for my second order was broken. When I politely pointed it out and asked if it could be swapped, I was met with a completely ridiculous response — one of the girls working there said, “All the cones are like that,” as if that makes it okay? And instead of helping, she and the cashier started laughing at us. I wish I was exaggerating, but nope — they actually stood there laughing. The level of rudeness and unprofessionalism was honestly shocking. If this is how they treat paying customers, I’m not sure how they’re still in business.
And let’s talk about the ice cream: bland, forgettable, and nowhere near the “best in town” that people keep raving about. I’ve had better from a supermarket tub. Definitely not worth the hype or the attitude that comes with it.
Save yourself the disappointment and go literally anywhere else. There are plenty of ice cream places that know how to treat customers with basic respect and actually serve a product worth eating. I will never be coming back, and I’ll be telling everyone I know to avoid this place.
