Social Profile:

We believe that incredible food brings people together. Voted BEST BAGELS IN CT! Our bagels are made entirely on-site, every day, using a meticulous three-day process. We start with the finest ingredients: unbromated unbleached flour, organic malt, mother dough, kosher salt, water, and a touch of fresh yeast. Our dedicated bakers mix the dough, which is then carefully formed by our state-of-the-art machinery. Each bagel, weighing between 4.5 – 5 oz, is steam baked in the wee hours of the morning, ensuring freshness. The final touch is a layer of liquid malt, giving each bagel its golden, chewy skin. Our small-batch steam baking process ensures that the inside remains airy and fluffy, creating a bagel that’s both substantial and delightful.

Great sourdough bagels— nice crisp texture on the outside, with a soft dense chewy inside. My favorite is the rosemary olive oil but also enjoyed their togarashi spice, lava salt, and everything bagels. They are very innovative with their bagel flavors and make very solid sandwiches. Waited about 10-15 minutes for two breakfast sandwiches on a weekday. They also have other baked goods and desserts that look incredibly delicious as well. Sitting inside is very comfortable for studying/working while enjoying a bagel and a coffee.

Awesome spot. Growing family regulars here. Recommended for any out of town visitors – if you can find a parking spot and arrive before their bagels are sold out! Bagels aside though, great coffee, pastries and positive vibes all around. Even the love they poured into the original building. We’re all about Blue House Bagels!

I’ve been here several times now, and everything is absolutely fantastic. The French Toast bagels were incredible, and even something simple like a chocolate chip cookie was extraordinary. Plus it’s a great hangout spot as well with the antique beams and very nice old fireplace. Highly recommend!

BEST bagels around hands down… PLUS they are great for gluten sensitivity. Fresh, quality ingredients with charming atmosphere. Get there early-they often sell out! Lucky to have them in the area.

I had the chance to try the French Toast and Za’atar bagels, and wow, they were amazing! As a New Yorker, we’re always bragging about our bagels, but maybe we’re not so great anymore. These Blue House bagels were just sublime—the texture, taste, and chew were all perfect. I think I’ve found a new favorite bagel spot, and it’s Blue House Bagels in Canton. You absolutely have to check it out! I also had the pleasure of meeting the head baker, Lisa. What a beautiful, kind, funny, and personable person.

Phenomenal.
I decided to treat my wife and I to bagels for a late breakfast today and we took the trip out to visit The Blue House Bagel. It was our first time here. We will absolutely be back.
The toasted bagels were soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Bagels and cream cheese were seasoned to perfection.
I cannot wait to return and try a new flavor.

Great coffee and delicious bagels! We loved the lightly toasted crust and chewy sourdough interior of each bagel. They had plenty of options to choose from, and every bagel we tried was fantastic. We had a rosemary and olive oil egg sandwich, peach stuffed, and everything with scallion cream cheese! We will definitely be back!

I stopped by Blue House Bagel Co. & Cafe and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. Canyon took my order with a smile, and Lia, the owner, was there warmly welcoming guests, making this spot feel like a true neighborhood gem.

I ordered an oat milk latte made with Giv coffee, roasted right across the street and wow—what a flavorful roast! The service was quick and efficient, and despite how busy it was, everything ran smoothly.

The bagels here are sourdough and made fresh in-house, and you can really taste the care that goes into them. I had The Pig Pen on an everything bagel with prosciutto, and it was the perfect balance of chewy and crispy. The bagel was soft inside, chewy outside, and the everything toppings stayed on—always a plus! The scrambled eggs were perfectly fluffy, and just delicious.

I also couldn’t resist grabbing a Maine blueberry muffin, and I’m so glad I did. The crumb topping was just the right amount of sweet without being overpowering. Absolutely perfect.

The space itself is charming—set inside an old house, it’s laid out really well, making ordering and seating flow seamlessly. It’s clearly a popular spot, with people gathering and meeting up over breakfast.

The only downside? Parking is tough. I ended up parking behind the shops and greenhouse area and walking around, which wasn’t a big deal, but something to keep in mind.

Overall, this place is a must-visit if you love great bagels, quality coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere! I’ll definitely be back.
