It was fine. Not the best food I’ve had, and not the worst. The server was pretty attentive and welcoming but the table next to us in the bar area was drunk and loud. The food was average. Kind of too greasy for what it was, and flavor was non-existent. It filled my belly, but didn’t satisfy any cravings. The portions are hefty and the prices are competitive, but flavor and texture plays more of a part for me.

My carryout food was horrible. The onion rings are burnt and clumpy. I found only 3 actual rings, the rest were clumps or brunt pieces. The fries were a little better . I’m they were ethier overly soggy or brunt. The only reason why i gave 1 star at all is because the waitresses were fast, courteous, attentive, and did an exceptional job. ts to bad the had to serve food that is nasty and should’ve never been sent out.

Came upon this restaurant while traveling through IA and I’m glad we stopped. It’s a quaint little place with a bar, bar tops, and tables for dining. The service was extremely friendly and the lunch crowd was a lot bigger than I thought. Looked like a lot of locals which was nice to know they support small business owners.
The food was what you would expect at a small restaurant. Large enough menu with a variety of options to choose from. The chicken sandwich was delicious. The breading on the chicken was so flavorful and crispy I would highly recommend!

The food most of the time is great except for the inconsistency of how done it is. Cheese balls one time can be perfect, another time “doughy”. Last time I was there the house chips were a very dark brown and obviously overcooked, when previously they were fine on another visit. The only consistent thing about the food is how inconsistent they are on how it is cooked, always seems like one item served is either under or over cooked.

I travel for work regularly and this place is one of my regular spots to eat when I travel to Mason City. I usually get the Lehigh sandwich and the cheese curds. I always recommend this place to others. Everything I’ve had is great! All in all I can say it has good food, service, and atmosphere!

Really delicious dinner of battered, not breaded, pork tenderloin sandwich and house made chips with ranch. My server was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. It’s a bar atmosphere but also family friendly.

Fantastic dinner the food was so good! I had the ribeye steak sandwich with fries and it was so tasty cooked just the way I asked. We also had the shrimp Po-boy and ham and cheese sandwiches were also big hits with my dinner party! Home made potato salad was two thumbs up! Will definitely return next time I pass through town!

Made the trip back down from Minnesota again today. Those green pepper rings are my FAVORITE!!! And if you’re a ranch fan, theirs is a must try homemade. Thank you to our watress for the recommendation!!!! The food is amazing!!!!! They need to be on an episode of Triple D!!!!
