Abbreviated menu going on right now. The server was pleasant and took care of the table nicely. The food was quite good and the brisket grilled cheese was fantastic. They are dog friendly for those who might want to dine with a dog. There is a parking lot with somewhat limited space. Overall nice place.

Quinn was our server and she was great! Knowledgeable about the menu and super helpful & attentive. Everything we ordered was enjoyed. The swert corn fritters were SO good. Definitely get extra of the aoli they come with. My only very minor complaint was that my waffle was a bit overcooked, but the chicken was really good as well as the flavored butter it came with. Prices were also super reasonable.

Note that if you go on the weekend before 2:00 the menu is the brunch menu and very limited compared to the regular menu. We had the burger royals, chicken and waffles and pacos (pancake tacos) which would have all got 5 stars. The issue was the breakfast croissant- it wasn’t a croissant at all but a low level biscuit and eggs. Highly disappointed in that and would never recommend. The staff was a mix of friendly and disgruntled. The ambiance was 5 star fun for Halloween

First time here and for brunch and we loved the place. The atmosphere is nice, kind of all purpose and has a unique style that seems to fit the building well. The staff was awesome and our server was very friendly and efficient, but the food was the star of the show. It was a unique breakfast/brunch menu that included the classic options along with some unique choices too. If this was any indication, I’m sure their lunch and dinner options are great too!

This first time we came here the food was delicious. We got the wings and they were super crispy, they bbq pizza was amazing. So much so that we went the following week. It was almost like a different restaurant when we came the second time. The food was cold when we received it, not a lot of sauce on the wings. We had a gift card and they double charged our gift card and my bank account.

We embarked on an exhilarating trip to reunite with our friends at the block, and let me tell you, it felt like visiting a hidden gem I hadn’t explored in ages! The atmosphere was vibrant, and the pet-friendly patio was buzzing with happy tails and laughter, creating the perfect backdrop for a great evening.

Now, let’s talk about the drinks, those slushies are nothing short of legendary! Don’t let their colorful, appealing appearance fool you; these icy delights pack a serious punch with their delightful blend of flavors and a robust kick of alcohol that’ll have you coming back for more!

And oh, the food! The truffle fries were a heavenly experience, bursting with rich truffle flavor and perfectly seasoned, no overwhelming saltiness here! Every bite was pure bliss. The mac and cheese was luxuriously creamy, a comfort food dream come true, while the chicken was seasoned to perfection, leaving you craving another bite. Each dish was an invitation to indulge and enjoy, making the outing nothing short of unforgettable! The service was fantastic considering how busy they were. The location has a good casual vibe but the only 1 flaw is its small parking lot but they do have street parking.

Stepping into The Block in St. Louis Park instantly puts you in a great mood–the ambiance is vibrant yet cozy, with modern rustic decor, warm lighting, and an energetic buzz that makes it perfect for any occasion. The indoor space feels welcoming and trendy, but the real highlight is the year-round dog-friendly Pawtio with its heated pergola–it’s incredible how they’ve made outdoor dining comfortable even in Minnesota winters, complete with a special menu for pups that adds such a fun, community vibe.

The food options are outstanding and incredibly diverse, catering to everyone without compromising on quality or flavor. Their famous broasted chicken is a must-try: crispy on the outside, unbelievably juicy inside, and seasoned to perfection–it’s elevated comfort food at its best. I devoured the honey pecan chicken salad, loaded with fresh greens, apples, strawberries, grapes, and that irresistible honey mustard drizzle; it’s light yet satisfying with generous portions.

Burgers are next-level–juicy patties on pretzel buns with creative toppings like bacon, BBQ, and onion strings that add the perfect crunch. The rice bowls are fresh and customizable, like the ahi tuna poke with sushi-grade fish, avocado, edamame, and coconut rice that’s vibrant and healthy without feeling boring. They shine with vegan and gluten-free choices too, like the plant-based burger with vegan mozzarella and avocado spread that even meat-lovers rave about.

Brunch is a weekend highlight: fluffy buttermilk pancakes topped with fresh berries, or inventive dishes like mini pancake tacos stuffed with eggs, bacon, and hash browns–pure indulgence washed down with boozy shakes or craft cocktails from their 36 taps. Sides like the totchos (tater tot nachos) are addictive shareables that disappear fast.

Service is always friendly and attentive, making you feel like a regular even on your first visit. Portions are hearty, prices fair for the quality, and the overall experience leaves you full, happy, and eager to return–whether for a casual lunch, happy hour, or dinner with friends (and furry ones). The Block nails elevated bar food in a fantastic setting; it’s become my favorite spot in St. Louis Park!

This place is great. Nice selection of entrees, drinks, and desserts. Super tasty dishes, I have enjoyed everything I tried. Their fried chicken and pastas are amazing! We always get great service. They have a patio section that people can bring their dog in which is a cool concept.

One of the few places open for Christmas dinner in town. We snagged a reservation for the family and we’re glad we did! Note that Iafr the reservation two days prior, so it didn’t need to be booked far in advance.

The place was packed, with a crowd waiting to be seated. We were seated right away, though.

We had an attentive server and we never had to wait for drink refills. The bar and kitchen were backed up, but we were in no hurry. Our server acknowledged the wait and kept coming to check on us.

The food is so good and varied enough to have something for different palates. The cocktails are so good. I had two of the old fashioned and they were so smooth and delicious. Everyone else enjoyed their beers.

Thanks to the staff at the Block for making our Christmas dinner amazing!

Dog friendly restaurant (separate seating area for these guests). Reservations are very much recommended if you’re coming during busy hrs. We tried the avocado toast, strawberry crostini, quinoa salmon salad, sweet potato fries, and Breakfast dog. All were delicious but the salad came with cold precooked cauliflower which I didn’t care for, but everything else I’d definitely order again.
