Super small venue but a great place for a show. We we there for the 1verse meet and greet on a nearly sold out night. Even with that there was still places to stand and not be on top of each other. The stairs to the bathroom are a little lanky but overall it is a fine venue.

It took forever for them to check everyone in, and it was very hot in here. But we got to see 1Verse here so that was very cool! They are hilarious and I look forward to seeing them again sometime with my wife next year And I got one of the members to dab! That alone was worth the money

Great small venue, just as I remembered as a young man in the late 90s. A good staple for music and entertainment in Ann arbor.

I’ve been going to shows here for decades, my love for this place is beyond reproach.
I wanted to thank the bartender last night who saw me carrying a cane and offered to let me use an upstairs bathroom if I needed it. It was completely unprompted, and small gesture of kindness from a person who clearly looks out for the people around them. Sincerely, thank you for making this a fun and accessible place to support independent music.

As a musician in a local band, this venue’s reputation for being amazing to play at lives up to the legend. Amazing staff and sound guy. Can’t wait to come back.

I went to the Laundry Day concert this past weekend. Based off of the previous reviews I’d been reading, my expectations for this place were very low. The venue was super awesome, definitely depends on the talent you’re planning on seeing, everyone apart of Laundry Day’s team and even the openers, WHATMORE, were super friendly and more than accommodating. The show was spectacular, they were on time and the crowd was electric. As far as the prices for the drinks, expect to pay out the ass, you might get a slight buzz at best as everything was watered down to shit. On the other hand, all these reviews stating the staff was rude, I couldn’t disagree more, the staff at the bar was extremely nice and very polite, maybe I just got lucky.
Overall, if you plan to go to a concert/ venue here, make sure to pre-game like crazy if you care about getting a little crunk before a fun show, you’ll pay dearly. Otherwise, I think it’s small, but that makes it personal in my opinion. We were able to stay after and got to hangout with the openers and the main band, got autographs and pictures, it was a super inviting environment.
The blind pig as a bar: 3/5
The blind pig if you’re going to see a band or talent you really care about: 4.5/5

We saw The Band Feel on 12 December 2025 and they were incredible! It was a great experience.

I’m highly disappointed in this venue for attending live music. The sound quality is very poor, as is the lighting. Neither enhance the experience of a concert goer. The ventilation also is poor, always has been.
However, the worst aspect of this venue are the staff. The staff here are unnecessarily rude, unkind, and unprofessional as you arrive. I had my ticket ready as I arrived, as well as my ID.
I’m glad I had my ID ready, even though I don’t drink, since the person ahead of me was told that they have a $5 fee if you don’t show it. I sure hope that the proceeds of that extra fee go to the bands performing there. Hmm, probably not.
I was prepared, kind, and patient and don’t appreciate being spoken to in a rude, disrespectful, and impatient manner.
I won’t be back here for a concert again. I won’t recommend it to fellow music fans or musician friends of mine.

We had a great time here watching a Grateful Dead cover band. It’s a really cool venue. There’s a completely separate bar area in the basement.

They charge 5 dollars on top of the ticket price per minor for concerts because they don’t drink. Why just not have all ages shows?? The sound quality wasn’t great, I could hardly hear the artist.
