The Blarney Stone was a unique and delightful local restaurant. My wife and I were looking for something simple and fun while on vacation and this was definitely it.

We had dinner tonight there. (About 8 pm). Three people of over 70 years of age. We asked the waitress if the IPA beer on tap had fruit as both men don’t care for fruit in there beer. The answer was ” the waitress doesn’t drink beer so she did not know. ( bad or incomplete training of the wait staff). My margarita was very good. The beer was ” very fruity ” but the guys were going to suffer with it. I got up and asked another bar maid what they did about unacceptable beer. Shrugs and whispering among the staff but nothing was resolved. You missed your chance to sell us more beer.

The Blarney Stone has certainly stepped up their game. My wife and I love to come here and play cards on a Friday night, and we noticed the food has gotten much better. The apitizers of smoked salmon bites and potato leek soup were wonderful . I had Irish pasta, and she had a Cobb salad with tenderloin. Both dishes were amazing. To finish, we both had the bread pudding. Our waitress Leandra was lovely but also very busy . The restaurant was very full the whole night they had a live band and a good football game on the TV.

I had lunch there, it was better than expected. The service was wonderful. We started with the pretzels and cheese, the pretzels were warm and delicious, the cheese was very good. I had the Mack Burger and my friend had the steak sandwich. The beer was cold and our waitress was friendly. I’d definitely come back to try more things on the menu.

I keep getting the bangers and mash with peas. I can’t bring myself to choose anything else. It’s so rare to find and delicious. Everyone I’ve eaten with has loved what they ordered. Great pub atmosphere, very relaxed and friendly. Nice large bar.

Stopped in on a day trip with my son and Fiance, service was wonderful. Food was fantastic and prepared deliciously! Had the Crab dip for an app it was creamy and flavorful. Then ordered burgers which were so damn good the bacon was perfect oh and a griled cheese for our Little. Atmosphere was calm and tables and bar were very clean will definitely return. Thank you!

The Blarney Stone is an quaint Irish pub with amazing food! I cannot recommend this pub more highly as the food is astonishing! They have a great selection of seafood and the crab dip was really tasty! The Shrimp Po’ Boy delicious with fried shrimp, lettuce, and a spicy boom boom sauce – the roll was very fresh and chewy on the outside, soft on the inside! The Grilled Dubliner Cheese with tomato and bacon was super yummy and comforting! Please, do yourself the favor and get the bacon and tomato- it sets this sandwich apart from regular grilled cheese with its thick grilled toast and melty, delicious Irish cheese. My compliments to the chef! So glad we came to The Blarney Stone where the atmosphere was relaxing and we got to sit in the window and look out on the town. The Wharf was way too crowded, too loud, and too busy for us to even get a seat – but The Blarney Stone welcomes you in like a friend or relative.

A very nice restaurant in a small town, but with big city prices. It’s not a mom & pop diner, but it is a great place to eat. The Shepherds Pie was delicious.

We shared the angus, pulled pork sliders, and Old Bay fries. I had the New England Clam chowder. I would recommend the whole thing all over again. Go Onancock!
