Doing a road trip down rt13 on our way to NC.
The car started getting hungry so this was what we found on Google.
Staff was welcoming and friendly, service was prompt and professional.
Atmosphere was comfortable and fun.
Food………it’s “pub” food. Don’t expect a 5 star dining, but if you’re hungry……..it’ll do.

My husband and I took a drive and ended up in this small, cute town. We ordered a late lunch from this pub and it was delicious. We loved the atmosphere and the service was great as well. My husband and I shared the corned beef egg rolls and I ordered soup and salad. Delicious!!

Great pub with lots of seating in Onancock. The bangers and mash banged and mashed. Service was excellent, although there weren’t many people there at 4:30 on a Tuesday. This would be a great place to come sit at a bar and have a pint.

Great restaurant with great service. I came in for lunch with a party of 6 and was seated right away. For starters we got bacon cheese waffle fries and lemon pepper wings. The fries were really good and the wings were awesome. The seasoning was perfect and not too strong and the ranch was a great dipping side. The beer pretzels were some of the best I’ve ever had- they were so soft and warm and the beer cheese was delicious! Everyone really enjoyed their entrees which consisted of the crispy chicken wraps, burgers, and potato leek soup. If I’m ever in the area again, I would definitely make another stop!

The Blarney Stone was a unique and delightful local restaurant. My wife and I were looking for something simple and fun while on vacation and this was definitely it.
The food was good and they had some unique specials. Beer selection was also great. There was some live music that we enjoyed and the service was tremendous. The pub itself was unique in both design and decor.
I would recommend visiting if you’re in the area.

Stopped in on a day trip with my son and Fiance, service was wonderful. Food was fantastic and prepared deliciously! Had the Crab dip for an app it was creamy and flavorful. Then ordered burgers which were so damn good the bacon was perfect oh and a griled cheese for our Little. Atmosphere was calm and tables and bar were very clean will definitely return. Thank you!

Four of us recently had lunch here. All agreed it was poor. Three of us ordered soup, which took a long time to arrive. Our entrees came out before the soup arrived. The soup for one person was the wrong soup. They then brought out the correct soup – a She Crab soup which she found herself unable to eat because it was so bad. The other two soups, clam chowder soup, eventually made their way to me and another companion after we had started our entrees. They were both lukewarm, so had been sitting in the kitchen for quite some time before being picked up by the server. My veggie burger was tasteless, so I barely ate half. One companion barely ate half his salad. When the server saw that my companion hardly touched her soup (large soup) the server said something about it but did not take it off the bill as a good restaurant would. Service slow and uneven with hands/arms going in front of faces across the table despite there being enough room to move around to the person being served. No plans to return.

After arriving and being seated, we waited well over an hour before food began to arrive—only to discover that the kitchen had lost part of our order.
A few meals came out late, some were incorrect, and for roughly 45 minutes several people at our table had no food at all while others were already finished.
The delay and confusion were substantial.
Mistakes happen in busy restaurants. Some at our table have worked in restaurants.
What matters is how mistakes are handled.
In this case, there was no proactive effort to manage the situation—no interim food, no clear communication, and no meaningful attempt to make the long wait easier for families with children.
What was most troubling was the response afterward. Rather than acknowledging the breakdown and de-escalating, the owner became confrontational and asked us to leave, despite the fact that the issue stemmed from a lost order and prolonged delays.
We were patient and understanding. We were not prepared for hostility when raising a legitimate concern. Were we terse at that point? Probably. It had been a terrible experience.
Unfortunately, this establishment is not one we can recommend.

Food was excellent! Ranch was sooo good! Server was so sweet and so kind. Very attentive to our needs and seemed to everyone as well. Fast prompt service food was great and hot!
