We came in from Houston to get on a cruise and the hotel manager recommended this spot for good food & drinks , everything was good and had affordable prices. also, The bartender was friendly and gave us great service. The Blackthorn is great if you want a laid back and fun experience with good tasty bar food, drinks and great music playing, it’s a little on the small side space-wise but cozy and a great place to grab a cold one with some friends.

We went to meet a friend. There were only a few people in there, but one guy was so loud and obnoxious. Tried picking a fight with an older and much smaller guy. The bartender was lacking in customer service. Played songs on the jukebox, and my songs were skipped over and wasted money. It was just not a good experience. Hopefully, it was an off day for them.

Great little spot. Nice beers on tap, the usual domestic beers, a nice IPA, and a perfect pint of Guinness. Not to mention the Irish grub they have, lovely pies, sausage rolls, and more. Pay it a visit, say hello to the friendly staff.

Great neighborhood bar. This place is not a dive bar. It’s small, but they still get some live music in there too. They don’t accept credit cards, which is really inconviniate, which is why they lost stars. Cmon guys, in this cashless society you need to accept credit cards. I recommend this place, but hit the ATM first.
