We stayed next door to this amazing cafe and enjoyed fresh cookies, croissants and baked breads. The hot teas hit the spot to warm up for the day but most importantly the welcoming staff made this local shop stand out! Every morning we were greeted with a smile and good conversation. I highly recommend stopping in and treating yourself!

I came for a second time because I loved the peanut butter cookie I had here on my first visit. Google said they were open and the door was open, but no one was in the shop. We waited because they are a new, very small shop and figured the employee was in the back or something. Instead, the woman came down and told us they were not open. I apologized and let her know that Google had their business hours incorrect. She was rude and condescending, saying that there was a Facebook post explaining that they are now closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Then basically hit me and my kids with the door on our way out. Yikes, it really left a sour taste in my mouth and I won’t be back! Not everyone is scanning Facebook for your daily schedule!

I love that there’s a range of sizes. I had the grilled cheese – it was decent but nothing too special. The bread was crispy and browned but the cheese wasn’t fully melted which was a shame. I would like to see more exciting vegetarian options – maybe some tofu or tempeh bacon?

WONDERFUL SANDWICH! I stopped here with my older daughter and my toddler. I can’t say how happy I am that they have a variety of sizes! For myself, I’m trying to watch how much I am eating…for my toddler, he doesn’t need a whole huge sandwich. We ordered a small gooey cheese and two kids sized (Rueben and Roast Beef). Not only was it affordable but they were DELICIOUS! The toddler enjoyed it, my daughter enjoyed it and I loved the Rueben. We were contentedly full (the sandwiches came with chips) and all for well under $30. This is our new favorite place at Rockport!

Cold sandwiches after 15 minute wait. And they forgot the chips. We were looking forward to supporting a new local place and we did but we probably won’t again.
