We stopped here late afternoon on the day after New Years. The place was quiet and a bevy of hostesses were standing by. We were seated promptly and our orders taken.
In no time our dinner arrived and everyone was happy with their selection. Two of us ordered the cheeseburger and another desired a wrap. It was remarked the baked potato was good, the cheeseburgers were cooked to perfection and the sweet potato fries were delicious.

After a long day on the road it was a real pleasure to enjoy dinner at The Blacksmith Restaurant in Dyersburg. We had asked for a booth and received one and were served by just the most charming young lady…. Marlee, who made our evening out just lovely with her warm smile, bubbly nature and great suggestions on the menu. The Josh Cabernet was terrific, as were the stuffed snails and shrimp crostini. Whenever a wait person’s face lights up when you order something, you know you hit a home run. We followed our apps with Trout for my hubby and Salmon for myself. Both were wonderfully grilled, great portion and the sides (best baked potato in a long time), broccolini and fries for the hub were great additions. Everything was served piping hot (something that doesn’t always happen in restaurants anymore) Marlee, checked back often enough to leave a little of her glow at the table, but without being intrusive. We travel through Dyersburg regularly and have found our “go-to” restaurant for a great meal at the end of a day. See you soon Ms. Marlee.

Came in with a party of 36 and received excellent service. Forged Deviled Eggs, chicken and Sausage Gumbo and a Pork Rib Eye was my fare for the night. The majority of my party ordered the Pork Rib Eye and for good reason. The tenderest slab of pork I think I ever had. My partner got a grilled chicken pasta and gave it top marks. Follow all that up with some blueberry cheesecake that will make you lick the plate. Wonderful staff that was able to accommodate our large party and provide speedy service. Our party will be back next year but I’ll be back sooner.

Our server was absolutely amazing! She was top notch! I couldn’t have asked for a better server. But sadly, our food was mid at best. They were out of hummus. The deviled eggs were rubbery. The pimento and cheese was not it. Drinks were good. Couldn’t complain at all about the drinks, besides I didn’t get my bacon in bloody mary. But I was absolutely disappointed with the food.

Our server was fantastic! Some of the food was great (Johnny cale and crustinis) but the entree’s were just ok. It was not consistent. Our chicken was incredibly dry, but the grilled cheese was great.

The service was amazing. The Forge burger was the best burger I have ever tasted! The loaded smithy fries and sweet potato waffle fries were so delicious. I highly recommend. The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly. It sure felt like home. The price was very reasonable. Someone with a food allergy, they were very accommodating. If you want to go for date night or just because I would say this place you can’t pass up.

Well lit atmosphere. Classic rock on the speakers. Mac and cheese with chicken was pretty good.

The restaurant is very clean, the seating is comfortable, the food is sublime, the staff is friendly and showed menu knowledge and offered recommendations. I had the Bloody mary, and the meat & cheese charcuterie both were delicious but the Bloody Mary was a bit too spicy for my pallate and the charcuterie was tasty but could stand to have a bit more variety of the meat and cheeses.

Courteous staff! We were quickly seated.
Salad was fresh. The steak was tender and juicy with lots of flavor. Had fresh fruit as a side. My wife had the Shrimp Po’ Boy. It had fried green tomatoes on it and a spicy mayo. Shrimp were fresh as well!
