I recently dined at Blacksmith in Pembroke and had the chicken marsala with risotto and mushrooms. The chicken was very tender and cooked perfectly, and the marsala sauce paired nicely with the risotto. While the dish was flavorful, I would have loved a bit more mushrooms to really round it out.
The ambiance was okay, though there’s room for improvement to make the space feel warmer and more inviting. Our waiter was polite, attentive, and quick, which definitely added to the overall experience.
Overall, a good meal with solid service, and I’d be open to returning to try other items on the menu.

This place is a mist go. Beautiful building and the food was very good and affordable. We met Tom ♥️ seems like a regular but he was so welcoming. The bartender had a relaxing vibe. The atmosphere was great, black and inviting. They even had placemats!!!

Super sad. We wanted to stay close to home tonight so we got takeout here. They said it would be about 30 minutes. My husband and son were waiting and he called and said “how long did they say” I told him 30 minutes. So my husband went up and asked and they apologized but they accidentally gave our food away. So my husband had to wait about an hour for our food with our 3 year old son. The manager apologized and said he would toss in a gift card in the bag for the inconvenience. Get home, they give my husband about 10 fries with his meal, the grilled chicken wrap didn’t have the garlic mayo or avocados. And no gift card. I hate to be annoying but food is expensive and my family just spent about 100$ on your restaurant and I’m just very disappointed.
Update: manager called me this morning and sincerely apologized and took care of us. I really appreciate the way the situation was handled and can’t wait to try again

We had Helene wait on us and she was wonderful. She was very attentive. We enjoyed the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer. My steak tips were cooked to perfection and I enjoyed them. We brought home a delicious dessert called caramel crunch. We will be back!!

First time visiting and we weren’t disappointed. Our party of four all enjoyed the food. The buffalo cauliflower was one of the best we’ve had, perfectly crisp with no mush. My husband loved his steak dish, and our friend loved the pasta dish. Two of us ordered the caprese sandwich, which was yummy, but we both agreed it would have been even better served warm… maybe grilled as a panini.

I really liked the vibe here and the service was great. Friendly and attentive. The drinks were delicious and the food was good except that my polenta was super salty and so I didn’t eat it. I had gotten the short ribs which were nice and tender. I wish it came with mashed potatoes instead of the salty polenta. Overall a nice time, nonetheless.

For starters, I tried their bao buns, and they were absolutely delicious! The buns were soft and fluffy, and the filling was packed with flavor but only consisted of one small piece of fried chicken thigh meat and about halfway through the bun I had no meat left

We also tried their short rib, and it was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The flavors were rich and savory, and the portion size was good.
Service was quick and efficient which was a change from the last couple dining out experiences.. we had a reservation at 5, seated right away and it was busy and had no more available reservations for the night..
Overall, I had a good dining experience at The Blacksmith. The food was good , and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. If you’re ever in Pembroke, I highly recommend checking it out! Enjoy!

Very disappointing! Bar service was non attentive!! I asked what brand of Iced Tea they serve and she did not know. Asked another bartender and she was annoyed and said”it’s from a box!” We ordered the classic burger medium rare and the smash burger both with tater tots. It took o we 20 minutes to receive the food and the classic burger was well done and really dry. Both our tater tots tasted frozen!! Bar server never checked back in to see how the food was. Was a bummer!

Nashville Hot Chicken was pretty incredible. Service was good at the bar, good TV set up, they have a key lime mocktail that has a graham cracker rim it was quite the concoction…For me though they got Maine Lunch on Tap and actually pour it into Pint Glasses not those little silly Tulips.
