We waited for about 45 minutes to get our food. Flies were everywhere at the booth we sat at. This cafe is connected with a Mexican grill. They gave us 20% off, because the wait time was so long. Even with that, the sprite I got tasted like pond water, and the food wasn’t even hot. The waitress was nice.

The service was friendly and efficient. The food was mediocre. My husband had a cheeseburger with onion rings and said the burger was nothing special and the onion rings were greasy. I had the wings and fries. The fries were great and the wings had a good flavor, though small. The food was overpriced and everything is A-La-Carte, so you spend more than usual for the same meals elsewhere.

An unexpectedly nice restaurant in a small town. If the Blackbird menu doesn’t have what you want then flip the menu over and there is the menu for a Mexican restaurant. Two restaurants, same dining area. It sounds complicated, but it works. We had lunch on a Friday afternoon and there was a good crowd but no waiting.

We detoured to have lunch at this hidden gem, and it was worth it. The food was delicious! The service was fast and friendly, and the comfortable, farmhouse-style appeal was inviting. Highly recommend The Angry Blackbird sandwich and fried green tomato bites!

Chicken fingers burnt to a crisp and very noticeable and still served them stringer things to me. Replaced with a burger it was nasty as well. The food has always been good. I guess with new owners comes new standards. Low standards obviously whoever is cooking the food needs to stop and serve tables.

We had the absolute most fun at this restaurant. The decor was beautiful!. The food was to die for. Our waitress Miss Taylor was freaking awesome. Served us with no problems at all. We got there at 8:30. And we left out about 9:15. Closed at 9:00. I was very impressed very. Anybody and everybody should go here. Even if it’s almost closing time, they will still serve you and take care of you and treat you like family.

Food was really good and our server was awesome kept our drinks filled and made sure all our food was correct. Both restaurants the Mexican and blackbird come out of one kitchen so when busy things can take a little longer to be ready and handed to us but. Other than that I recommend this place!! Great food and great service !!

Stood in front of the counter for 10 minutes before I was addressed. Ordered a bacon cheeseburger to go. I was thoroughly disappointed. Bland beef, cold bacon, cheese wasn’t even melted. The fries were completely unsalted. I gave my wife a bite and she described the patty’s flavor as “old man feet”. Maybe they had an off day but I haven’t given them a second chance. Such a tasteless and uninspired burger for too high a price. If you want a fantastic cheeseburger at a great price in Woodbury, then try the chicken shack.

I really wanted to like this Mexican restaurant but jesus the price was outrageous for what I ordered! 3 Carne Asada tacos, chips and salsa was over $30.00! And I didn’t even get the refried beans that I ordered! I will never spend another $ at this place. The receipt did not list what I ordered so I don’t know how much anything truly cost. Altogether a terrible experience and we will NOT be going back in the future! Very disappointing!!

Nice decor, but the flies cost a star. Service was slow but most of all they need to fix the prices/portions… My daughter wanted BLT… small sandwich with bacon crumbles $9… no fries. Also a regular ol burger or fish sandwich should not cost $9 if it doesn’t come with fries, and a handful of fries should not cost $4, after my $3 sweet tea. No one should be charging $16 &tax for essentially a combo meal.
