I recently had the pleasure of photographing at The Black Swan, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. They gave us the opportunity to shoot promotional content and really play with the venue. The space itself is beautiful—while the dark ceiling can be a challenge for photography, the ambiance perfectly captures the authentic England-inspired vibe. From the Manchester United football scarves to the thematic food, like the truly authentic toffee pudding, every detail makes the space feel immersive and special.
From a photographer’s perspective, the venue offered so many creative opportunities. The space became jam-packed in the best way for networking, yet the layout allowed for many different setups: from a full step and repeat setup to a photo booth in a back vault room. While the lighting presented some challenges, the design of the space allowed us to frame shots that truly capture the mood and character of The Black Swan.
One of the highlights of working there was Justine, the General Manager. She was absolutely next-level—if you had an idea, she made it happen. Her professionalism, creativity, and enthusiasm made the day effortless and enjoyable. She’s an amazing addition to the team and truly elevates the entire experience at the venue.
Overall, The Black Swan is a fantastic venue for photography, events, and immersive experiences. The attention to detail, thematic authenticity, and supportive team make it a standout location in every way. I can’t recommend it enough for photographers, creatives, and anyone looking for a unique, memorable space.

I visited this restaurant on Valentines Day. I made a reservation for a high top table, I wasn’t aware that I would be squeezing into a tiny area on a platform, near 2 other tables. There was no room I had to hold my coat and balance myself on this stool with no back. Our waitress was beyond nice and attentive, she was wonderful. I ordered the hummus board, it was ok the hummus tasted bland. I also ordered Guinness bbq wings, they were good but they gave me all drums. The proper fries with truffle oil and parm were excellent. My husband ordered a burger and he enjoyed it. The atmosphere was happy and super friendly. I would return again, but not on a holiday due to the seating issue. Overall we enjoyed our time here.

This was a heat restaurant! I loved the black swan room, it’s so beautiful. The vault is cool too. Great concept. I has the scotch egg (spicy!) the baked Brie (so good) and the French onion soup (which was ok)

First time here. Had a nice dinner. Food was good but didn’t wow me. My favorite of the night was the Steak Bites; they had great flavor. Server was very sweet but everything about service was very slow. From drinks from the bar to the food. It didn’t seem too busy to constitute slow service, but maybe was just an off day. Would come back to give a 2nd chance.

Everything was good except the steak. The weekend kitchen staff only knows how to cook well done, which is odd because they ask you how you’d like it cooked. Sent it back twice asking for medium rare. The first time was medium well, the second time was well done. Lost my appetite sadly after waiting so long. Nachos were good, and so was the Shepard’s pie. Atmosphere and waiting staff were great. Only get the steak if you eat it well done, they don’t know how to make it any other way.

Threw my boyfriend a surprise birthday dinner in the vault! Beautiful room! Amazing service, food and drinks were great and price was very reasonable. I planned the dinner with Justine and she was an absolute delight to work with. Highly recommend!

We had our elopment dinner with some close family at the black swan. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. Justine was incredibly helpful and responsive during the entire process. We were in the vault room which is cozy and beautiful. Thank you so much for taking great care of us!

This place is a true gem! The ambiance is absolutely stunning, and I was so impressed by the delicious food and fantastic drinks. The service was outstanding, and I was especially blown away by the chicken tikka masala—it was surprisingly good.
My only minor critique is the big screen TV inside the vault. I feel it really disrupts the intimate and beautiful aesthetic the vault could have.
