What a great place! We stopped in on a random Monday. Highly recommend the Hudson cider.. think it was somewhat pumpkin flavored. Brown ale was good. Kyle really hooked it up with the drinks and laughs. Thanks a million!

Wow1 Went there for a local fundraising event. The amount of beers available was unbelievable! Tried many! I’m going back. Drank more beer than I ever did and wasn’t even bloated or drunk. Nice buzz—good stuff! Delirium and Purple haze. LOL
Oh and continuous tunes-nice variety!A diamond in the rough. This place is an awesome spot for a laid back drink. They have an excellent selection of beer and a great staff that is very friendly and informative when it comes to picking out what beer you want to drink. I only came here for drinks on a sunday night so I could not tell you much about the food or the crowd. It seemed to me like most people that I was sharing the bar with were locals from the area but they were friendly and easy to have a conversation with. Beware of parking in the area. If you can park behind the bar along the guard rail. During the weekend you may park anywhere in the parking lot but if you come here during the week do not park by the houses in the lot as those spots are reserved for the law office that shares the lot. The bathrooms are really cool in this bar, they are painted with chalkboard material and you can write all over the walls if you wish. i would recommend this place if you are looking for a bar that doesn’t have that typical long island vibe.

I visit Long Island every few years and this was my second time coming to The Black Sheep Ale House. The renovation is really nice and the selection of beer is second to none. So many interesting and good things to try. In addition, the service is very friendly and knowledgeable.

The tap list in this classic pub style bar is one of the best around. Friendly atmosphere with board games available for a mellow time. No kitchen but free hot dogs if your stomach is crying out for something solid. Parking is pretty tight but not the end of the world.

Place looks great with the renovation. Low key atmosphere. The new cocktail list is fun.Bartenders are great. But the new menu is fire!!! The chef, LaShonne Stewart, is a Wizard. Highly recommend her, especially the Peach Cobbler Egg Roll.
