We attended the Back Goose for the Salvation Army fundraiser on Tuesday, December 2nd, 75% of donation going to the Salvation Army. The meal was very tasty, from the soup to the dessert. The roast beef was amazing. Everything was sooo good. Our waitress (don’t remember her name) gave us exceptional service. Very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back.

I’m not a big chicken girlie but this was the best chicken wrap of my life. Atmosphere was very charming out on the porch overlooking the water. My husband loved his wings and my Grandpa and Dad really enjoyed the father’s day buffet!

The Broasted chicken is a must try. So tasty!
Soup of the day is always delicious.
They also have really good daily specials.
Breakfast is ok. But only if you can’t get into the other places intown. It tastes good, and great they offer it, but mains are way better
Hit or miss with the service here depending on who you get. But majority of the staff is really nice.
Go here for the great patio and mains. 🙂

Went in the other day for lunch, sat and waited at our table, we attempted to get the server’s attention but there was no eye contact or interest. Other people came in, that the server obviously knew and they were seated, received their menus and drinks. Yet, still we sat being ignored. When we had enough, we got up to leave and then the server comes over to us apologizing. By then we were done, I understand it’s busy, but to walk past us numerous times, not acknowledge our existence, not telling us she’ll be right with us, nothing. So I speak with my wallet, won’t be sharing any money there.

We had some business in Wallaceburg and had seen many positive reviews for the Grill, so we stopped by for an early afternoon bite.
The establishment was empty, not surprising we were in on a Monday. One server on and only three patrons, including ourselves. We sat on the patio, which was nice unto itself. It’s a shame about the Town of Wallaceburg as the river view is kind of depressing from the patio, and it would be wonderful if they invested more on the waterfront for the local business.
I had a standard fare “Baldoon” burger and fries. Solid burger, fresh tomato, and lettuce. Cooked well and gave it a 7/10. Fries fresh and non oily. Portion to value size is excellent. I’m not a fan of paying $18/19 in many other restaurants for burgers and fries. Had a nice cold one on tap at a reasonable price. We sampled our first ever broasted chicken if you can believe it. Chicken was extremely moist and tender. Honestly, after seeing it everywhere down here, we really didn’t know what it was. It was enjoyable, although not much flavor. Just personal preference to how we each eat our chicken. Not a knock against it. We left with leftovers and will be back to sample the breakfast menu in the near future.

Visiting for a hockey tournament and our team made reservations for dinner. Atmosphere, location and service were fabulous, and everyone’s meals delicious! Not one complaint from parents/children! Highly recommend!

Beautiful location. The patio by the river was very nice. Pricing was good. Draft beer choices included some nice little cal micro breweries. The vegetarian nachos were excellent – fresh ingredients, real cheese and fresh crisp lettuce. The homemade soup was very good. The service was a little slow, but very friendly and helpful.
