Grace at the bar makes a delicious ” Shenandoah Sizzle ” besides serves the Black Dog Capt.Douglas’s signature cocktail in a can”Dark n’Stormy”..tasty sandwich jam packed with the best local foods,Quahogs ,especially .Burgers are outstanding..simple good fare! From out of town and decided to stop by for lunch when visiting the area. I ordered The Woofer and it was amazing! Great atmosphere and options for indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff were super friendly! Happy and Chef G, in particular, helped make my experience great. I will certainly be going back next time I’m in town, highly recommend!

This place has a great vibe to it, unfortunately I was just doing takeout coffee, so I wasn’t able to enjoy the place or try the food. The coffee wasn’t really that good and I had trouble keeping the lid on the cup. And I would still go back to try it again

Have loved the Tavern since opening. Have been 2x this season…. Not happy with the changes. Size of breakfast bowl is significantly smaller and bread is definitely not the same on the sandwiches that in years past. Great coffee still Probably will not be ordering food in the future
