If only all coffee shops were like the Black Cow… This is what all coffee shops should be like! Cozy, welcoming, great vibes, and fantastic coffee. Pastries too!

Such a cute find. This coffee shop has tons of seating plus a bookstore attached. Very vintage feels. The lavender latte was so delicious . I paired that with a lemon and pistachio biscotti. Definitely coming back here

Best spot I have found for coffee in Croton. Lovely place with a home feel, friendly staff, good service and joyful atmosphere. Great coffee, and very good attention to their practices as well as their baked goods. Love the gluten free options. Great location! Overall, there was plenty of comfortable space inside, and some beautiful benches outside, if you want to look out into the street. Very lovely gift shop, with some facinating, unique and esoteric selections. Looking forward to coming back to this place!

What an absolute gem of a coffee shop! Great tasting coffees, plenty of seating options, and amazing treats/baked goods on offer. They have plenty of alternative milks, syrups, and vegan/gluten free baked goods available.

Very nice vibe, relaxed and smelling of yummy coffee. They buy their own loose leaf tea in the bag. Kinda cool!

This place USED TO be really good. I don’t know what happened, maybe it was an overhaul of employees. Whatever the case, no one working there seems to know how to make a latte. I’m basing this on multiple visits, each time having a different, poor result. I always order lattes, which are about $6 for a large. They almost always foam the milk too much, so by the time I get home and the milk has settled, I have less than half a cup of latte in my large cup without having taken a single sip. (Image provided of completely untouched latte. I have not drank or removed any amount from the cup before taking the picture.)

No morning routine is complete without a trip to the Black Cow. The staff is amazing & the coffee is fresh. Pick up a pound of their freshly roasted coffee beans, done on site.

Love this cozy little place. Besides coffee drinks, we buy whole bean coffee there. Always a great variety of coffee selections to try.
