We had an absolutely delightful brunch at the bistro from start to finish. Cisco’s service was exceptional—genuinely kind, attentive, and thoughtful, making us feel truly welcomed and well cared for throughout our visit. The food was outstanding, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor—every bite was a treat.

To top it all off, we were lucky enough to enjoy a gentle snowfall, which added such a magical and cozy touch to the experience. The lake views from the bistro were simply breathtaking, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax, savor the moment, and enjoy great food in a beautiful setting. It was a memorable and special brunch, and one we will be talking about for a long time. We look forward to returning again soon! ❄️✨

We had a lovely brunch at The Bistro Edgewood. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and relaxing, with beautiful views and a stylish interior that perfectly matches the lakeside setting. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal.

We tried several dishes — the avocado toast with poached eggs, steak and eggs, chicken & waffles, shrimp and beet salad, and French onion soup. Everything was beautifully plated and fresh. The avocado toast and poached eggs were flavorful and well-seasoned, while the steak was tender and cooked just right. The chicken & waffles were crispy and satisfying, with a nice balance of sweet and savory. The French onion soup was rich and comforting, topped with a delicious layer of melted cheese.

Overall, the food quality was excellent, though a few dishes could use a bit more seasoning for a stronger flavor. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality, service, and ambiance make it worth it for a relaxing brunch experience at Lake Tahoe.

Would definitely recommend for a cozy and scenic brunch spot!

The chicken pot pie here is absolutely mind, blowing. It has more of a soupy texture than a traditional pot pie, but I didn’t mind it at all. The crust concept was clever, there’s a layer of crust on the bottom, the filling in the middle, and a cracker, ‘ike crust on top, with no crust on the sides. The flavors were rich and comforting, making it a must-order. The clam chowder was good as well, but compared to the pot pie, it felt a bit lackluster. Definitely go for the chicken pot pie when you visit!

My husband and I got married in September and wanted to do a honeymoon on the west coast and found ourselves in Lake Tahoe! Edgewood was absolutely INCREDIBLE and we landed ourselves at the Bistro hanging out with the bartenders every single night! Simply can’t say enough and it was one of our favorite parts of the trip was getting to know everyone! Everyone was so nice, wanted to learn about you, and hospitality was 10/10! Shout out to Aurora as she was on schedule almost every night we were there! She was soooo sweet, accommodating, and a seriously FANTASTIC mixologist! We can’t wait to come back!

An unforgettable dining experience with a stunning view of Lake Tahoe. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfectly complementing the beautiful lakeside scenery. The food is delicious, prepared with care, and served with exceptional attention to detail. Service is truly top-notch — every member of the staff is incredibly gracious and attentive, making you feel welcome and cared for from the moment you arrive. A perfect place to enjoy both the flavors and the views of Tahoe.

The Bistro at Edgewood offers a beautifully designed, upscale dining space with stunning views of Lake Tahoe. The vibe is elegant yet comfortable, making it a great choice for a relaxing lunch or dinner.

The food was excellent- However, the service felt scattered and inconsistent, which took away from the otherwise premium experience. Unless you’re a “VIP”, don’t dare ask for outdoor seating, which was a bit disappointing.

That said, the overall atmosphere and food quality make The Bistro worth visiting, especially if you want to enjoy a well-crafted meal in a gorgeous lakeside setting.

We went for the Fourth of July prix fixe meal and fireworks ($250 pp). The atmosphere and service were phenomenal. The entire evening felt very welcoming and family friendly. For the prix fixe meal, they had a good variety of food items. For the price, I feel like a beverage probably should have been included as I have gone to other nice resorts with similar concepts and either spent less or had more. So, just a thought.

We loved the wagyu slides, wedge salad and surf & turf. The cocktails were also great. Dessert was subpar as was the chowder and oysters. So, for the price there is some room for improvement but overall enjoyable. I’d honestly just pay the $75pp to see the fireworks and then get cocktails separately.

I went here for brunch on my bachelorette and it was absolutely incredible. They were going to seat us inside and we asked for outdoor seating, which they said they had but it would be “cramped.” Cut to us sitting at the most spacious and large round table that easily sat all 9 of us. That immediately let me know I was in for a luxurious experience with top tier service! Most of us on the trip were from New York so as my friend put it, it was Tahoe cramped not New York cramped. Food was incredible, fresh juice was divine, views were out of this world. Our server Jenn was so sweet and accommodating and even gave me wedding day advice! I got the eggs benny with lump crab, which was really good, and we all shared the pancakes and French toast. The French toast was incredible, highly recommend!

I recently had an excellent experience at the Bistro, located within the stunning Edgewood Resort. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, and we were lucky enough to secure a table right by the window, offering a breathtaking view of the lake.

The service was lovely, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. We enjoyed a delicious brunch, and after our meal, we took our drinks to the lobby, where a magnificent, large Christmas tree created a festive ambiance.

Afterward, we strolled along the beach, which was a perfect way to cap off our visit. Plus, the valet parking is complimentary, making the experience even better. I highly recommend visiting this place for a delightful dining experience!

Edgewood Bistro — Dialed In Like Fresh Wax on a Tahoe Powder Day

My wife and I rolled into Edgewood Bistro for lunch and immediately felt like we’d clipped into something special.

I went with the steak sandwich—perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and balanced in a way that tells you this kitchen knows exactly what it’s doing. Every bite was confident, not flashy… just right.

She ordered the chicken pot pie, and wow. Comfort food that’s been elevated without losing its soul. Rich, hearty, and thoughtfully crafted—like it had been simmering in good decisions all morning.

What really stood out, though, is that you can tell this place is finely tuned from the chef down. The service, the pacing, the atmosphere—it all hums together. Edgewood Bistro runs like a perfectly dialed pair of skis on a bluebird powder day in Lake Tahoe: smooth, responsive, and built by people who clearly love their craft.

Relaxed, refined, and absolutely worth the stop. We’ll be back – no question.
