It’s a little breakfast/lunch takeout (now) place inside West Jeff LCMC hospital in the lobby.
I had an early appt., so I stopped for coffee and a sandwich.
The coffee is good. I had a bacon, egg and cheese on wheat and a 12 oz grits.
The sandwich is pretty good. They cut it in the box so I caught a little grease on my pants thru the slice in the box. The grits are “ok”. They do give you butter, salt, pepper, too.

I had breakfast here while waiting for my husband to get out of surgery. The staff was very polite and fast service but the price and the food was subpar. I ordered 2 (must have been small eggs) scrambled eggs that were sitting in a little puddle of condensation. I’m guessing they were microwaved. The sausage was super thin and didn’t have any brown on it. I’m guessing it was microwaved too. I wouldn’t have ordered from here if I had known that my food would come from a freezer and would be microwaved. It wasn’t worth the money.

Stopped in today and all I can say is, “yum!” What a great experience! I have been stopping into The Bistro for years now while going to our many doctor’s appointments. Spotting lots of new faces behind the counter, but always greeted with a smile. The lunch special was incredible! I love how the food is consistently delicious! Keep up the excellent work!! The sugar cookies are and have always been amazing! I have battled parking in that hospital parking garage to get my hands on those cookies! you won’t be disappointed!

Disappointing. Over priced. My broccoli soup was cold and the broccoli raw…7 dollars for a tiny cup. It’s a shame because it is very convenient for people who work in the building or at the hospital for an appointment.maybe it’s a bad day or maybe they were busy.
