I would genuinely give the food 10 stars if I could!! This is one of the most immaculate places I’ve eaten!! Although the music is a bit overbearing the atmosphere is amazing on the patio!! The patio is gorgeous!! I got the steak wedge salad and it was EXCELLENT as well as the alforno pasta being absolutely EXQUISITE!! I also recommend the tomato basil soup!! The bistro salad is also an amazing option!!! If you are in the Findlay area please please try this place!!

The brunch pop-up I recently stumbled upon felt like a serendipitous culinary discovery. It exuded an air of laid-back charm with a menu that boasted comforting favorites with a gourmet twist. The standout dish was undoubtedly their chicken and waffles. The waffle was a perfect amalgamation of crisp exterior and a fluffy inside, harmoniously complemented by succulent chicken that was fried to golden perfection. Every bite was a delightful play on textures and flavors, with a hint of sweet and savory that lingered on the palate.
But it would be an oversight not to mention their innovative French toast sticks. This wasn’t the typical breakfast item many are accustomed to. Each stick was an indulgent masterpiece, crispy on the outside with a melt-in-your-mouth center that hinted at a blend of cinnamon and vanilla. They were the epitome of brunch decadence. I can only hope this pop-up decides to lay down permanent roots, for brunches like these should be a regular Sunday indulgence.

We had a dinner for 6 people. The wait time for food was very long we had several tables around us receive their drinks, apps, and entree’s in the time it took for us to receive our apps. Our wives ordered the beef tenderloins at 60 dollars a piece. My wife ordered mid rare and my friend ordered hers medium. Both Tenderloins came out looking extremely well done with no pink. We requested they be re-done. When they came the second time they were extremely raw. We cut them again with the server at the table. The server was not able to distinguish the temperature of the steak from looking at it. I could tell they were under cooked when he set them down and they were jiggling. The server applied a AAA discount to the ticket to accommodate the poorly cooked steaks. I appreciate the consideration however I have AAA and the total discount only amounted to roughly $25 dollars of a $270 check. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice and overall the experience should have or could have been great but missed the mark.

The vibe, the vibe, the vibe…. this is what they mean when they say, “It passed the vibe check!” Simply beautiful. Went here for an impromptu birthday dinner, and we left angry that we’d been through Findlay so many times and had never stopped her before.
First, the aesteics are moody abs modern with dark black walls and a single rose on the table! Pops of silver read fancy without trying too hard. Like she’s whispering,… “If you know, you know.” Every table feels like VIP sans velvet rope.
Can we pause and give the drummer some? In this case, it’s the bar! Exquisite!!! Signature drinks, sexy and flawlessly smooth with the perfect flavor profiles and garnished beautifully without doing too much. This is where the art of mixology trump a waiter that runs behind the bar to make a drink every time.
Food superb,…. service outstanding. Just go, because frankly, I’m going back. I mean, who the heck makes meatloaf from duck???!!!! Look, it should be illegal the way our eyes glazed over as we were served an entire pork shank! Even the salad was banging!
This is an awesome gem in small town America… patronize a business that’s doing it right!

Solid mixed drinks, and food. A bit pricey, but overall I think worth it for the fine dining experience. The Oysters Rockefeller was delicious, and the various pastas we had were wonderful as were the salads. Got a free gelato for my birthday. Enjoyed a nice Ameredo cake as well. Service was a bit slow for a night that was not at all busy. Waitress was attentive.

I didn’t know what to expect in Findlay Ohio when I was there this past weekend for a wedding. The woman I were hungry for dinner on Friday nights so I found this restaurant called The bistro in Findlay Ohio. Walked into the core was modern and very bright and spacious. It took us a moment to get seeded I think they were waiting for groups at able to leave before we set down. But we were able to order started off with whipped feta and pita bread with honey and olives. Then we had the next appetizer a fried mozzarella encoded with panko breading along with the amazing marinara sauce and arugula salad on top. I like fruit in my salad so I tried the Fiji salad with balsamic vinaigrette. In a sun-dried tomato pasta that was on par an bangin. The only thing that they needed to do is keep the portions a little smaller so you don’t get full on everything else you trying.

Service was very good here. The BLT wedges salad was delicious and filling. All of the ingredients came together well, we’re fresh, and were of quality. The salmon was okay. Again, there were great quality ingredients, but I felt like the creamed corn and pickled onion overpowered the salmon and detracted from the sear. The presentation was great. Bistro does a great business even on a Tuesday night.

OK where to start. I’ve seen a lot of of the other reviews of this restaurant all saying it’s a five star fine dining place—if you’re used to eating at Applebee’s then yes it is an upgrade. But black walls and black tablecloths do not make a fine dining restaurant.
The flatware was okay, but not something you’d find in a fine dining establishment. The service was slow and the restaurant was incredibly loud. The tables are long, rectangular tables coming away from the wall and the chairs were something you’d see in an upper scale diner. Everything was nice but fine dining-No.
The tables are all six tops yet they charge you 20% gratuity on any party 6 or more. They also charge you automatically a service fee of 3% because they’re planning on you using a credit card (that they thankfully removed when paying cash).
The restaurant is very narrow almost like it used to be the space between two buildings. This probably accounts for the loud noise factor and the use of long rectangular 6 top tables. The space was really not designed for a restaurant.
Now let’s talk about the food. I give them credit for trying to create interesting and different menu options. The salads are very good and some of the entrées were absolutely delicious. The lobster risotto was very good although for $38 appears that you get the meat from inside one lobster claw and the rest was something diced up. I really couldn’t tell that I was eating lobster, but the flavors were very good, and I would still recommend. My wife had the salmon, which was cooked well, but the pesto was overpowering, and too much pickled onions piled on top. She said the proportions weren’t t quite right and wouldn’t probably order it again. The mushroom linguine was another story. The chicken was overcooked and dry, and the artichoke was undercooked, and again, the pesto was overpowering and just not right. My daughter couldn’t even eat it. Would have sent it back, but since our waitress didn’t come by towards the end of the meal, there’s no point in ordering something else. I told the waitress it was not good and she couldn’t eat it. However, they did not take it off the bill so apparently at this restaurant, if they serve it, you are paying for it. Realistically, it may of just been a new server who didn’t know that she should have removed the meal from the bill. I didn’t make a big deal about it just because we were celebrating a graduation.
Just an fyi, she served my 17yo daughter a glass of wine that was intended for another adult at the table. She may want to card people that don’t look old enough….
Ok— It’s a good place to try, but it missed the mark as a 5star fine dining restaurant. It’s a little pricey, but has unique meals that you may find interesting. I would have given it 4 stars but the charge for uneaten meal, service charge for credit card, and mandatory 20% gratuity rubs the wrong way.

Excellent dinner. Everything about this place was A+. Bread was very fresh and cooked perfectly. Side salad was extremely tender and even the ranch tasted better than normal. I had the filet, which was one of the best I have ever had and cooked perfectly. Only knock is the butter was sweet. I like my butter savory. I almost missed this place and walked by it 3 times before I found it. Definitely worth the effort.
