A nice little home cooking cafe. The lady running the place was super nice and the food was pretty darn good too and there’s not a complicated menu since you order off the chalkboard with two options! Nice and easy and if you get bored you can look at antiques for sale while you are there.

Judy makes the best home cooked food in Montana. She uses organic produce, fries in coconut oil, uses local when possible, and most importantly it’s always delicious! I would eat here every day if I lived in arlee. I highly recommend stopping here even if it’s out of the way.

Loved it!! Great food, great service. If your looking for the sterile chain feel this is not the place for you. The atmosphere is comfortable it’s like going to a friends for coffee. The meal is truly home cooked. There are 4 adults in our party and we all had the biscuits and gravy with eggs and hash browns, we all recommend them. This is a must stop, we will definitely stop again. Thank you for a wonderful meal and experience.

The Biscuit was a marvelous find. If you are searching for a home cooked meal with a home cooked environment then you should stop at The Biscuit Cafe. The food was great, Judy was a complete sweetheart and made us feel like we known her for years.

The food is awesome I love the veggie browns. Judy is wonderful and most accommodating if you want something different. I highly recommend the Biscuit not only for the food, people, but for the wonderful history and ambiance it has.

Judy Morton and The Biscuit is the heart of the Arlee Valley. It is much more than a cafe. It is a connection center for locals, strangers and those looking for a great ‘burger or a homemade cup of soup. Judy also has a store filled with antiques and treasures. You will feel very much at home and comfortable visiting and sharing the table with others who come for conversation and community.
Warmly, Judy Helm Wright–Author/Publisher/Intuitive Wise Woman

I stopped here on the way up from Missoula to Flathead Lake and I ate one of the best Reuben Sandwiches of my life. The customers, I think, were all locals besides me and they were very friendly, and the woman who seemed to run the place triple-checked to make sure my food was alright. It was a great Reuben, all the flavors perfectly balanced, the bread toasted and crispy and the corned beef tender and piping hot. Sandwich was so good I had a piece of pie and it did not disappoint either. I wouldn’t ever drive through Arlee again without stopping by the Biscuit.
