A couple of weeks ago we had a drink at the bar before a concert. Had great service from a friendly and accommodating bartender who has great taste in music and has worked there for years.

Absolutely superb spot to catch a drink and a bite before a show at Town Ballroom, Sheas, or any of the other amazing attractions downtown. Drink menu is full of killer cocktails and the bartender really knows his stuff. Classy atmosphere but not at all pretentious. If there is a band playing that night at Town Ballroom – you’ll probably hear the soundtrack playing here before the show to set the mood for the show. Highly recommend the Cosmo or maple bourbon smash – also the crab cakes and roasted brussel sprouts are to die for. Definitely check this spot out next time you’re downtown on Main. We will most certainly be back!

The Bijou is your best bet if you’re ever in Buffalo. My girlfriend and I were both first-timers to the city. The Bijou surpassed all expectations with exceedingly excellent service, delicious food, friendly staff, and an all-around excellent atmosphere. This place is next door to the AMC movie theater, so it’s perfectly convenient for taking your SO out to dinner and a movie.

Absolutely delicious food and fantastic service! My husband had the chicken pot pie, and I had the shiitake mushroom risotto (which is gluten free and vegan). The risotto was a large serving, so he had to finish it for me. Devyn (sp?) was our server and was friendly and wonderfully personable. We also saved room for dessert. My husband got the seasonal special, a chocolate peanutbutter cheesecake with peanuts, and I had the chocolate decadence – a flourless chocolate cake with chocolate ganache. Absolutely delightful. We’ll definitely be back here the next time we visit Buffalo!

Burguer sounds awesome on the menu. But in real life was very disappointing. Overcooked, under seasoned. French fries with parmesan were ok. But I was trying to avoid bar food. Nothing against bars is just I just wanted to have a different experience. I bet I can find many bars that can prepare a better burguer. Service was excellent and they were very courteous and attentive.

This restaurant is conveniently located near theaters. The menu is limited but is well prepared. I liked the ravioli, but though the Ceasar salad had too much dressing; it tasted fine.

On Sunday March 26, 2023 my daughter and I had a reservation for 2 at 5:00pm before our show at Sheas Theater..We want to acknowledge our server Stephanie for her outstanding service we had from her..My daughter ordered the Salmon Crust and I the Buttermilk Chicken.. I had questions about the spices that were mentioned for this dish.. I told Stephanie I prefer no spices and she suggested other ways of presenting the dish the way I may like it.. She was accommodating to my needs. Needless to say both meals were perfect in every way when Stephanie brought our meals to our table..That is excellent service and for that I would come back again for another great experience.

Stopped here before a show at Smith Theatre. We were welcomed right away and sat. Our server brought over a bottle of water right away. Menu had a lot of choices. I had the Brisket burger which was good, huge. Piled high, topped with onion rings and bacon, lettuce and tomato. Fresh cut fries were excellent. My wife wanted the turkey sandwich but we were informed they haven’t been able to get turkey recently. She chose the chicken wrap which was good.
