Waited for an 1 hour and 20 minutes for this slop they call a pizza. Ordered 1/2 supreme 1/2 pepperoni, I know it might be hard to tell.

Happy memories of home. Wife just picked up a true 21″ pizza from there. Being a NYer i was skeptical. WOW. Awesome pie. Just like home. I am definitely making this my go to place for a good pizza. Just what town needed. Thanks guys. I saw the size of that and I thought I was havin a slice back in NY. And the crust was perfect.

Been wanting to try the new Republic location since it’s closer to us. Previously, our favorite spot was the Big Slice in Springfield off Sunshine. Was a little hesitant with previous reviews, but hey, they are new, dealing with new employees, and probably a lot of volume. Long story longer….we gave it a shot, and did not disappoint. Pizza was ready on time, and tasted great.

My husband and I are from NY and we were so excited to have a NY style pizzeria in Republic. And they sure did not disappoint! We will be back ! Crust is absolutely delicious and perfect. Perfect pie !

So… get off work and the wife and I decide to attempt to order a pizza from our local big slice. She’ll order and I’ll swing by and grab on the way home. She was on hold for 15 minutes with no response. I pull up to the restaurant and they had three tables with customers and one guy waiting. They did not look busy at all. I walk in and ask the guy who is folding boxes at the counter if someone is going to answer the phone. He goes “oh” and at this point I just don’t care and leave. I’ve order 3 times from this location and no experience has been “okay”. I want to give a local business my business but this location makes it extremely hard to want to return. I know this location is new so the first couple of visits I blocked/ignored a lot. I get a new location is going to have growing pains so I try to give some grace. Sadly, we’ll just order from Aris, Domino’s, or Pizza Hut from now on.

We ordered a few slices and knots to go. The staff was very friendly and the pizza was good. Only thing I wouldn’t order again are the garlic knots, they were hard as a rock and not edible. Nice to have pizza shop we can get slices to go.

We were really excited to try this new pizza place in town and went in wanting to love it especially since our favorite pizza spot in town recently went out of business but unfortunately our experience fell short. Both pizzas arrived mis shapen and folded over on themselves in the box, which affected the quality. My pizza was a build-your-own four topping pizza ($25), but it came with an extra topping I didn’t order, and overall it just wasn’t very good especially for the price. My husband’s pepperoni pizza had the same issue with shape and being forced into the box.
We also tried the cinnamon bites, which ended up being very doughy. That said, my husband had previously tried a Stromboli from here and did enjoy it, so there may be some menu items that shine more than others.
With the pricing, this just isn’t somewhere we would return to, but we hope things improve as they continue to get established.

Tried to order a pizza , was told 20 min showed up 25 min later and wasn’t even put in the oven yet , then they said 15 more mins I asked for a refund then magically it was 5 min , 5 min passed still not even done I told them give me a refund or put the raw pizza in a box and I’ll cook the damn stuff at my house so they threw it in the box raw . This place will not last …
