It’s a fun place for Sonoran sushi. Not the authentic Japanese or American kinds, but ones with a Mexican twist. Think deep fried, loaded with cheese, with bacon or beef. I enjoyed the experience.
The menu also has other bar food like boneless chicken wings, but they don’t serve beer which is a bummer.

The food to start was disgusting the rice was mushy and the wings were over done. We let the waiter know that the rice was very mushy. He let told us that it was authentic and we just didn’t know how fried rice was made. Also we were a party of 12 people and 4 of us didn’t get out food till 50 minutes after the last person. It was terrible highly highly recommend for people to eat somewhere else!!!!

I have been to Japan a couple of times so I know the real sushi flavor. In the states the sushi variety is also quite unique, BUT I have never tried such delicious sushi as I did last night at the big kraken. 100% recommended. Also don’t forget to ask for the walnut cake with coconut, is amazing!!

Terrible food! Cheap, the bottled “sealed” topo chico tasted of soap it was as if they reuse the bottles “clean them” and refill them. The food was gross, ketchup was of the poorest quality. The “fresh” ginger also tasted of soap. The service was a bunch of young lazy boys just trying to sit any chance they get. Will never go back. Extremely disappointed.

If you’re looking to get your sushi fix, this is not the place. There was no fresh fish, and the dry carne sushi “fusion” missed the mark. They also tried the added-tax scam, where tax is added to menu prices despite this being illegal (menu prices must include tax by law in Mexico). We complained and it was fixed. It’s a nice enough outdoor venue, but the poor food and scamming is enough enough to get one star from us. Be warned.

If you know your sushi, this is a spot to avoid. The portions of yucky cream cheese filled sushi were generous and the service was very good. The road noise detracted from the atmosphere but what the heck, we are dining al fresco.

Interesting mediocre fushion style sushi. Rolls are filled with every protein but fish. Lay off the spice and cream cheese and it would be a notch better. Service was great.

Just another uninspired sushi place. They successfully copied any other average sushi place.
