My friends and I went for a girls day and this was our first stop. The waitress was very nice, but as soon as she said that the apps would be ready in 4 mins we were worried. We got the apps before we even got our drinks. We ordered the cheeseburger dip and we were appalled at the presentation and taste. It honestly looked like dog food. We also got the steak & cheese egg rolls and they were tiny and not sure if there was any steak in there. It was really bad, we opted on getting entrees because of how bad the apps were. Don’t waste your time, consider other restaurants.

Ordered the lobster mac & cheese, got a literal microwaved, pre-made plate that was super deceiving, especially for the 29.99 price. The burgers everybody else got was extremely basic, and the salad didn’t even come with dressing. The service was rushed, the ambiance not bad but the food really basic.

Ordered a whiskey with a single rock, but it was served in a plastic shot glass—not exactly what you’d expect for the price. We started with the fried pickle appetizer, which arrived looking shriveled and dehydrated. The texture was chewy, and nearly half the portion consisted of just the battered shells—no pickle inside.

My wife ordered the burger, advertised as Angus, but I seriously question that claim. It looked and tasted like the paper-thin, boxed patties we were served in college—labeled “Grade D, edible.” She took one bite and had to spit it out.

I went with the chicken tenders thinking it would be a safe fallback. I was wrong. They were tough and difficult to chew. I managed to eat a few bites, but only the most salvageable parts. The only highlight was the Big Kahuna sauce—it had decent flavor.

We sent back both my wife’s and son’s meals. At the table next to us, a man literally stood up, spit his food into a napkin, and continued spitting over the fence before he and his party left. No manager ever came by to address the situation.

I almost never write reviews, but I felt compelled after spending $131 on a meal that made my entire family feel sick. Truly one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had.

Went for date night dinner and sat out on the patio and enjoyed the seaside air. I had the fried clams and he had the haddock sandwich and we both enjoyed our meals although my favorite clams are still from a different place. The crinkle cut fries that came with the meals were amazing though some of the best fries we’ve had in a long time. Nice atmosphere with good music. He also had the dragonfruit spiked lemonade and liked it. All of the other guests eating I saw were also couples so I feel like it’s a good place for date night 😉

I’m surprised this place isn’t even 4 stars. The ribs were crumbling off the bone, absolute perfection. My prime rib dip was delicious and loaded with flavor, drinks were good, and prices were comparable to other spots. Honestly, I’ve been to just about everywhere at old orchard and this place is one of the better spots.

I never went to tequila frogs before it changed to the big kahuna so I can’t speak on being better or worse.
The place is pretty nice, sitting outside in the shade watching the cars can be neat.
The drinks were tasty but very weak alcohol wise (can’t complain too much since the margs were 5 bucks) and the fisherman platter was good although only 4 scallops. Burger was also decent. The fast and friendly service was what really stood out!
Overall I would say to give it a try it’s not bad but there are better options albeit for a lot more money!

I’ve never seen a restaurant that didn’t have a phone number to call. The menu looked alright, so I walked to the location. The place was pretty dead and the bartender shrugged and said “I don’t make the rules” when I asked about being able to call to place an order. I placed our order with him, came back to get it and walked back to our house.

Now onto the food. My wife got the pineapple chicken with a side salad. There was no teriyaki glaze as listed on the chicken, the chicken was cut part way through on random spots which seemed to make it dry out, the pineapple salsa was a bunch of minced veggies with a few bits if pineapple, broccoli stems were brown, and they didn’t give any dressing when I asked for ranch when prompted.

I ordered the seafood platter. I asked for extra tartar sauce, and some ketchup for the fries. I received neither and to boot, the menu description says it is served with “lots of lemon.” There wasn’t a single lemon! The platter was just an average overpriced item that you could get at your local pizza joint for half the price.

I obviously couldn’t call to see if the problem could be rectified and I was not going to walk back down there for another potential shoulder shrug. Maybe that’s why they don’t have a phone number

We tried this place, the menu looked good, but the results were disappointing. First, the only around parking is $20, not a huge issue if the food is worth it. We ordered nachos as an appetizer, when it came out is was only chips with cheese and lettuce, not worth the price. As mains we ordered burgers, fried shrimp and a French dip. All the meals came on cheap paper plates, the burgers were bland. The French dip tasted like it was made with frozen cheese steak meat and the horseradish sauce was very sweet and weird.

$26 for a frozen Mac & cheese tv dinner with 1 tiny dry braised shredded short rib. And the Steak and cheese wraps were definitely a cut up hot pocket that was overcooked. My drink was good at least. My boyfriend said his meal was “ok” he got the pineapple chicken. His drink bucket was mostly juice tho. Definitely not worth $143. I usually will eat anything. Service was great. But we will definitely not be back.
