For me, the flavor was the star. I had Jambalaya pasta. It had a bold, robust flavor with just the right spice level. My date had the seafood platter and really liked it. Our service was very good, but we sat at a tiny table alone in the barren front section.

Starting with the positive, our server was very nice and attentive. She was pleasant, got our food orders taken and out in good time, and kept our drinks refilled.
The food, on the other hand, left much to be desired. Maybe it was an off day, seeing that we checked the reviews before we went.
I started with the She Crab Soup. It lacked flavor and was very underwhelming. It also had an off putting liquid on top when served; I just stirred it before I had a taste. My husband started with the Seafood Gumbo, he also wasn’t impressed.
We both ordered “A Taste of Louisiana”, which came with jambalaya, gumbo, sausage red beans and rice, and a choice of shrimp or alligator – I chose the shrimp and he chose the alligator. The gumbo and jambalaya weren’t seasoned very well and didn’t have much of a flavor.
We agreed that the best thing on the plate was the red beans and rice. *if I chose to go again, that is the one thing from this visit I would order again*
The kids ordered the fried shrimp platter – they did enjoy them. I will say the few shrimp I had on my plate were also pretty good.

Ordered shrimp and grits hmmm the onions, green peppers and red peppers were just too much. See pictures 1 & 2 all that on side of plate was on top of the sub par grits.
Then my friend ordered shrimp and oyster po boy the sandwich had more garnishment & bread than shrimp or oyster, 3rd picture was the sandwich after shrimp and oyster were gone.

I had The Big Easy cater a breakfast for my office, and the entire experience was perfect! Kevin was fantastic with communication, the delivery arrived right on time and fresh, and he set everything up beautifully—making sure it was all just right before he left. And the food… WOW. My team of 20 was unanimously impressed. The flavors were incredible! We had two different stratas, chicken and waffles, pimento cheese grits, fruit, potatoes, and pastries—everything was delicious.
I cannot recommend their food and service highly enough. Truly a wonderful experience!

I want to start by saying that this salmon is the best I have ever had. The restaurant’s service was excellent. Our dinner arrived hot and delicious-looking. We got the Chicken Caesar Wrap, the salmon Lafayette, which was very good, the Gator Bites, which I thought were a little too salty but not too horrible, and the Taste of Louisiana, which wasn’t that bad. We choose a Bananas Foster for dessert. For comparison, I’ve never had one before, but this was really good. If I have the chance to sample another, I hope it will be just as good.

First time at the restaurant and ordered the bourbon chicken. It was delicious. Perfectly cooked and perfect seasoning. The serve was excellent. They didn’t rush us out even though me and my friend got caught up in catching up conversation. Will bring my family back to try.

Disappointed with quality of our meals. Ordered Shrimp and grits , seafood gumbo, kids corn dogs, crab cakes, and spicy shrimp. Mushy, dry, overcooked are some descriptors. Our waiter was very attentive and checked on us often.

I just got a nice size order from uber eats from here I don’t know who is cook the food in the back. They are making the food taste horrible. The red beans and rise salty and missing the old taste. The gumbo just as bad. The catfish was decent. I paid for an order of the original taste and got bad food. Stop going here it’s not the same
