Our restaurant sits on the water at the Harborage Marina with ample outdoor seating to enjoy the relaxing view and Florida breezes. Fresh Florida seafood is the star of the show at The Big Catch, but our menu also includes many appetizer plates and shareables and items for the landlubbers too. Brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday, lunch and dinner are available daily. We have entertainment five nights a week, along with Trivia Night on Mondays and Open Mic on Wednesdays. Free parking is available right in front of the restaurant and our boaters can pull right up to our dock.
Rustic, colorful waterside joint for seafood specialties, wings & grilled meats, plus local beers.

If you’re traveling through St. Pete with Harvest Hosts, The Big Catch is an absolute must-stop.
From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was next level. The nicest people you’ll meet anywhere — genuinely welcoming, accommodating, and grateful you’re there. We even had the opportunity to meet the owner, which made the experience even more personal. That kind of hands-on presence says everything about the pride they take in their business.
The food? Outstanding. Fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for when you’re dining near the water. Everything was prepared perfectly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and authentic — no pretense, just great seafood and great people.
For Harvest Hosts travelers, this is a perfect location. Easy access, comfortable setup, and a dining experience that makes you want to extend your stay.
Highly recommend. We will absolutely be back.
I started with the Seafood Chowder, a rich and comforting cream-based chowder loaded with tender fish, shrimp, sweet corn, potatoes, and just the right blend of spices. Thick, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying, it tasted like the Gulf Coast in a bowl. For my entrée, I chose The Big Easy, and it absolutely delivered—bold flavors, expertly prepared seafood, and that unmistakable Louisiana-inspired flair that makes every bite exciting.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the service friendly and attentive, and the setting along Salt Creek added to the overall charm. Whether you’re arriving by RV, boat, or car, The Big Catch at Salt Creek is a must-visit for anyone looking for excellent seafood in St. Petersburg. It’s the perfect stop to enjoy fresh Gulf flavors while traveling Florida’s beautiful west coast.
I work for The No Name Saloon in Pinellas Park and I was fortunate enough to meet BEN. He told me about the place. He bartends here!
So, I joined in on the MUSIC BINGO on Monday nights 7pm to 9pm.
What a blast that was! They give out gift cards to 3 winners! Big money gift cards!
Drinks were amazing.
The FOOD was great! Great portions for the prices! Food was hot! Came out in great timing! They were fast I didn’t have to wait more than 15 minutes to get my food!
I had the Snapper with Cajun Crawfish Sauce — and let me tell you, it was to die for. I even joked with the waitress, “Whoa whoa whoa… I haven’t licked my plate clean yet!” That’s how good it was.
The smoked fish spread was another standout — flavorful and perfectly balanced. I didn’t get a chance to try the mahi tacos this time around, but I’ve heard they’re a fan favorite, and now I believe it.
The signature drinks were top-notch, the atmosphere was chill and inviting, and the staff made the whole experience feel like something out of a vacation magazine.
I seriously cannot wait to come back and bring the whole family next time. Y’all ROCK — keep up the amazing work!
10/10 would recommend!
The Staff is incredible, both courteous and attentive. There was ample free parking in and around the restaurant. The Big Catch at Salt Creek is a bit deceiving from the curb where it looks like a small restaurant, when in fact it’s large and extends to the water. This restaurant is great for anyone, whether you are dining out alone or with a large group. There’s an added bonus with live music.
As for food, I would definitely recommend the fish tacos with it large portions. As for dessert ,I would suggest the Banana Foster’s dish.
