The food and service were great. Big portions. The bowl of grits was creamy and hot. The eggs were perfect with amazing sauce over them. We are new to the area and will be back.

Not bad, our waitress was really good. The food was above average but we like a few other joints in the area a little more. (Boozy coffee always earns an extra star!) 😉

My dad and I used to love this restaurant. We both always order the chicken fried steak. Last time we were here the chicken fried steak was so overcooked it was barely edible, eggs were cold, and potatoes were cold. We would have said something to our server but she never came to check on us until we were finished eating. We won’t be back.

Cool place with an old-time small-town diner feel. The biscuits are good and the menu feels very “Kansas City”. The iced coffee was too sweet for my taste, but all around a good experience.

We’re visiting Kansas City and I searched for food near me. This place popped up and had good reviews so we decided to try it. If I lived locally, I’d eat here all the time. The food and service were fantastic! The portions are huge and filling. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

I wanted to try a new breakfast spot and found this place. I opted for the 3 car pileup which with tax I think was around 20 dollars. The amount of food I got was insane I could only finish half of it. My server was very pleasant even when she got busy with a big table seated next to me. Other than Waffle House this will definitely be a go to spot for me for breakfast whenever I am in the KC area. I highly recommend checking this place out.

The place is always busy but the wait is never long. The food is freaking awesome and always more than I can eat. I love taking home leftovers. And it doesn’t break the bank. If you got to have breakfast somewhere other than home might as well go over there. It’s better than your mama made.
