Good atmosphere with fun outdoor activities for family, groups, friends, couples, etc.
the food is yummy, burgers are good and we have enjoyed the peel and eat shrimp when it was offered.
My cocktail ordered was not that great and I received a Downeast Cider on draft instead which I always love.
Pretty good drink selection overall and food for everyone to choose. It is a more relaxed fun atmosphere directly in the boardwalk which is nice to be so close to the ocean and enjoy your meal or drinks.
We did notice that the restaurant next to the Biergarten was serving the food to our location, which maybe that location actually serves the food and is more upscale and with different menu items

If you’re on the AC boardwalk craving good food, cold beer, and a relaxed vibe, The Biergarten is a must-go.

I had the pulled pork burger- perfectly smoked, juicy, and loaded with flavor. Every bite was rich and satisfying! I also tried the sausage platter, which featured a great variety of meats (bratwurst, kielbasa, etc.), all grilled to perfection and served with sauerkraut, mustard, and crispy pretzel. It’s a hearty, delicious combo!

The setting is casual and fun- picnic tables, string lights, and ocean breeze make it feel like a backyard party. Service was very friendly, and the beer selection is excellent, with both German and local brews on tap.

Overall: Great stuff, tasty food, great atmosphere, solid beer list. Perfect for groups or a laid-back bite by the beach.

The Biergarten Atlantic City is undeniably a haven for beer lovers, boasting an impressively extensive selection of German and European brews—over 30 drafts plus a variety of bottled and canned options—catering to light ales and bolder styles alike . Whether you’re in the mood for a crisp, refreshing lager or something with more character, the beer range is both authentic and satisfying.

In contrast, the service here can feel hit-or-miss. While some reviewers praise the team as “attentive” and “friendly,” others describe experiences that lean toward mediocre or lackluster . This inconsistency may depend on timing, staffing, or workflow—some nights, you’ll feel well taken care of; others, less so.

Guests report not having sampled the food themselves, so this review stays in the realm of beverage and service only. If you go, you’ll likely delight in the beer, but temper your expectations for standout hospitality—it’s service that serves, not dazzles, while the beer impresses.

Im here down in Atlantic City. Decided I wanted some clams and oysters. The last time I was here, this establishment had them, and they were good. I looked at their menu online, the menu was the same. When got their the menu is totally different. I one thing that bugs me are lazy businesses. Businesses that don’t keep up with keeping their website up to date!!! The menu is wrong. The operating times are wrong , bad business. I didn’t leave. I ordered a bratwurst platter. The menu is limited now. If all you care about is beer, then this place is for you. Many types of beer. Service was not friendly. Look, if you can’t be friendly, don’t be a waitress. It comes with the job. They play load heavy metal music. All in all I was very disappointed. Oh, watch out for ants. The tables are made of wood, there are a lot of small aunts crawling onto the table, watch your food. I had to flick several off of my plate.

If you love all things German food and beer you will love this place! Super cute outdoor bar. It is seat yourself… which was a little weird. But they were attentive. I just kept making extreme eye contact with the employees so they knew to come up to me. Think we got the sausage platter which was amazing!

Great spot for a drink and a light bite. They often have live music, and the views from the boardwalk are fantastic.

This place is super cute and fun! They have giant jenga and lawn toss game set ups. The drinks were nice and strong. My husband enjoyed NJ’s IPA’s and I loved my mules. The only food we ordered were the loaded fries- delicious Overall glad we stopped by. Definitely would recommend. Only downside would be the kiddos that were screaming at neighboring tables. I’m a mom and I get wanting to have a good time but kids in a bar scene kind of takes away from the aura and fun.

Stopped here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty good, super chill and relaxed atmosphere. They an awesome beer selection as well as a great mixed cocktail menu. We had a Weihenstephan beer and an evil genius IPA. And the ladies had a Stella and a watermelon mixed cocktail that they absolutely loved. For lunch we ordered the fried pickles, and potato pancakes, both were very good, double cheeseburger ( it was very juicy and cooked perfectly), and the spicy sausage on a pretzel roll with peppers and onions. Overall a great experience. Our waitress was awesome, the service was excellent. Prices are very reasonable. I’ll definitely recommend this place. And there is two corn holes.

Cool tavern for this area of the boardwalk. It gives a feel of a neighborhood tavern . Food a bit over priced for what its worth. It is good , but $18 for frozen fried wings . ‍♀️. I had a corona and Bbq wing appetizer it was $28 plus $4 tip . Servers are always dressed nicely and very professional. Paying for location is always expensive. As a local not a place I will frequent.
