We love this place! The owners are super friendly and work just as hard as their employees! We go about once a month for the karaoke nights and have a blast. It is a smoking bar, so if this bugs you, it might not be your spot. We “quit” about a year ago but still love being able to vape inside and while still enjoying our drinks. This is also not a sit down restaurant, so don’t expect a host or table service. You have to go to the bar and order. They offer some great food, and (once ordered) will deliver to you when done. This really is your classic dive bar and the people here are so friendly, staff and patrons alike. We went for my bachelorette party and for New Year’s, and everyone had a good time. We have made so many friends here and love the atmosphere. I know my husband would prefer it be a Cowboys bar, but that’s something he can take up with them lol. It’s always a fun time on a Friday or Saturday night! Check it out if you want to have fun and enjoy a laidback atmosphere.

Went there while visiting Dallas area with my brother hoping to find a live band as they’d advertised. Place is gross inside. Smelled of vomit and sewage in restrooms. Smoking everywhere. The amount of people who were drunk beyond driving capabilities at 9pm was horrible! It appears to be a local hang out and obviously with no other choices. I wouldn’t go back

This place doesn’t deserve one star. We walked in and seated ourselves. And we sat there… and we sat there. The waitress walked by us four times , looked at is each time. After 30 minutes of being ignored we left. I’ve wanted to visit this place for awhile. After extremely POOR SERVICE… or actually NO SERVICE., I would definitely not recommend going to Bethany Tavern.

This is the perfect venue for grabbing a mic, stepping up on stage surrounded by the very best karoake sound system in Allen and let your pipes do the talking.
